This film is hilarious. It is not shy on gay-oriented humor, so the easily offended should buy this immeditely.PLOT:Jerry and Nick are two best buddies whose love lives have hit rock bottom. After Nick runs into a friend who is getting married to a beautiful, younger girl he met on a singles cruise, he decides to take a similar cruise with Jerry. Things do not go as planned though, after a vengeful travel agent books them on a cruise for gay men.During their trip, they come to learn that gay men are less objectionable than they first assumed and Nick especially sheds his homophobia. However, Jerry falls in love with the cruise's dance instructor Gabriella and in order to win her over, he pretends to be gay so he can get closer to her. Meanwhile, Nick blossoms a romance with a bikini model named Inga. After an accidental affair with her mean, sex-obsessed coach Sonya, Nick must fend her off, after she has fallen in love with him as well.In the end, Jerry wins Gabriella while Nick loses out on Inga but sees a potential relationship with her sister instead. However, he is then unwittingly (and unwillingly) reunited with Sonya; much to his disgust and her instant arousal upon seeing him.

There are not many comedies I can watch over and over, laughing out loud each time, but Boat Trip cracks me up every time I watch it. Boat Trip is about contrast and the contrast is what delivers the laughs. Cuba Gooding Jr's comedic timing is absolutely perfect, delivering punchlines both verbally and visually. His facial expressions and body movements add horsepower to the laughs. Horatio Sanz is the perfect complement to Cuba, adding straight and comedic volleys that extend the laugh sequences. Roselyn Sanchez has never looked sexier onscreen. She'll make your pixels SIZZLE!!!! Lin Shaye as Sonya the (tanning) Coach is hilarious. Vivica Fox played her part well. Roger Moore tried, but didn't quite mesh with the cast or the movie.Boat Trip is a 94 minute stand-up comedy routine. It is outrageous on every level just like the best onstage comics. It definitely won't appeal to homophobic souls, but for everyone else who could care less about a person's sexual orientation, you will crack up.The DVD at a 1.77:1 or 1.85:1 aspect ratio fills a widescreen TV and is sharp and enjoyable. The unrated version has boobs, lots of 'em, and a fair amount of F-bombs, but what would you expect? As apparent from the other reviews you'll either love or hate this movie. I friggin' love it.

Movie is fine but paid 24.99 and came with walmart tag on it for 5.50.

Why does everybody think this movie is so stupid? I bought it on dvd not knowing what to expect and I was very pleased. My two idols from childhood Richard Roundtree(John Shaft) and Roger Moore(James Bond) are in the film and I give it five stars just for that. Anyway, the movie Boat Trip is about Jerry(Cuba Gooding Jr.)who asks his girl Felicia to marry him and she leaves him. Jerry's buddy Nick is told by crazy Marshall Gellar from high school to go on a cruise if he wants to get lucky with women. Jerry and Nick get into an argument with Artie Lange and Will Ferrell sends the two on a GAY cruise to get revenge. I don't want to give the movie away, but I can tell you one thing for sure, me and my friends laughed like hell throughout half the film. Have an open mind when you watch this film. How can you not like a movie with a Swedish tanning team and a BEAUTIFUL puerto rican dance instructor. The people that don't like this film are CRAZY! The best ... dollars I ever spent on Amazon.

After winning an Oscar for 'Best Supporting Actor' in Jerry Mcguire Cuba Gooding got a lot of criticism for following up this prestigious performance by doing what is considered 'light, silly, moronic fluff', like 'Snow Dogs' and 'Boat Trip'. But i personally love silly, raunchy, stereotypical trashy comedies like "Boat Trip". This was a good, fun, mindless, profane romantic comedy with heart. And the 'unrated version' has a few seconds more of beautiful naked playboy playmate BOOBS! That, in addition to the lovely shots of Rosalyn Sanchez's naked boobs seen through a sheer mesh blouse....and the gross out vulgar sight gags, for me, were worth the price of the dvd alone!

Boat Trip was hard to find but once I got it it was clear & still the funniest movie ever

As a gay man myself and 31 i love this movie. If your a bigot or closed minded id steer clear. Sadly some of the gay stereotypes are true but for the most part the movie is funny and interesting. In one part it explains how gay men are viewed and treated by straight people which in trump land is sadly true.

Here's a movie that seems to have offended almost everybody. It's certainly different. Artisan Pictures snuck "Boat Trip" into theatres in early 2003, months after it's completion the year before. In 2002's "Boat Trip", Jerry and Nick are two cool Gen-X guys just looking for love; they get side-tracked onto a rollicking 5-day, non-stop European cruise. OOPS!! Too bad this cruise is just for gay guys! TV screenwriter-turned-director Mort Nathan has assembled a lively, fast-paced comedy that dares to pull it's pants down. Pardon me. His pants down. Gender-bending, gay-bashing, and outright homophobia clash with Swedish bathing beauties in this zippy, sparkling frolic. "Boat Trip" stars the remarkable Cuba Gooding Jr., and features Vivica Fox, Will Ferrell, and the delicious Puerto Rican Roselyn Sanchez. 74-year-old Roger Moore is nearly hysterical as a devilish gay queen. Flooded with bright, tropical colors, "Boat Trip" was shot in Cologne, Germany, and the alluring Greek Islands. This brand new 1.77:1 anamorphic widescreen DVD includes out-takes(not too good), deleted scenes, chapter stops, tanning tips(don't ask), a trivia track, trailers, and a documentary first aired on Showtime Cable last spring. "Boat Trip" doesn't take itself too seriously. And guess what, neither should you. Put aside 90 minutes, check your brains at-the-door, and be sure to buy a ticket for this "Boat Trip".

Quand 2 amis se retrouvent sur une croisière ou il n'y a presque que des gays, et qu'un malentendu fait qu'on pense qu'ils sont aussi de la jaquette, c'est difficile d'avoir une relation amoureuse avec les rares filles qui font partie du voyage et vous considèrent juste comme des amis et confidents que comme d'éventuels petits amisCuba Gooding Jr, Roselyn Sanchez, Vivica A Fox, Victoria Silvstedt et le regretté Roger Moore réunis dans cette comédie hilarante du début a la fin ou on a un mélange La Croisière s'Amuse, Mary a Tout Prix et American Pie

L'ho acquistato dopo averne visto qualche pezzo in televisione, è un film molto esilarante con situazioni paradossali, non so se sia adatto ai più piccoli in particolar modo per un paio di scene un po' pesanti. Da sottolineare la grande e ironica presenza di Roger Moore.

Très bon film très très bonne occasion.

Il film è divertente, mette buon umore, è un film spensierato e quasi mai volgare (diciamo che è poco adatto ai bimbi da cartoni animati xè ci sono 2 o 3 scene in tutto il film un po' scabrose, cioè che potrebbero turbare la loro sensibilità) ,ed è svolto praticamente quasi tutto su una nave da crociera, probabilmente dev'essere anche lo sponsor (la lobby delle crociere) del film xè i protagonisti hanno una camera che neanche in albergo l'ho mai avuta così grande... :)) e sono stato in vacanza pure in crociera... Se uno vuole un film divertente e vacanziero questo film è l'ideale. L'unica scena un po' surreale è quando Cuba Gooding Jr bacia per la prima volta (e fa altro) con una ragazza incontrata in crociera, appoggiati ad un albero ( alle pubblicità in televisione di giorno e sui canali nazionali si vede molto ma molto di più, le due o tre scene che dicevo prima sono altre) che vengono quasi seppelliti da una collinetta di frutti caduti dall'albero per i loro movimenti (per dare un'idea è proprio come una delle tante scene del film una pallottola spuntata e 1/2)Per finire i sottotitoli non ci sono ed è scritto chiaramente sul retro della custodia, ma il film è sia in inglese che in italiano. Niente slang ma usano spessissimo frasi colorite tipo dove c'è una scena di un ragazzo che cerca di far uscire di casa e dal torpore un suo amico giù di giri invitandolo in un locale pieno di ragazze, lo chiama per telefono e gli dice:" riempi il tuo zaino di c.azzate che stasera andiamo a far conquiste!..." se uno sa benissimo l'inglese lo può vedere in inglese, che è anche meglio senza traduzioni, ma se uno è anche solo leggermente sotto a questo livello di inglese, e da lì a scendere, senza sottotitoli, del film riuscirà a capire solo i buongiorno, buonasera, grazie,... :))Lo vedi e ti sembra di essere in vacanza. Almeno per me ogni volta è così.. e così è se vi pare! :))

Très bon film ou l'on passe son temps à rire!Le Dvd quant a lui était bien protégé dans une enveloppe à bulle.
