The product comes in a box from Forlife and is durable. Then I put into a Large Priority Mail box for mailing. I add plenty of packing peanuts till I am sure it will not shift or move around in the box.

no, it cannot be boiled on any stove.

It will comfortably handle 24 ounces. Actually it could hold a tad more. This is with the infuser and tea in place.
