I'm just old enough to remember the big bands, the popular songs from the 20's, 30's and 40's. I remember most, if not all, the words. The sounds of the legendary jazz musicians, because of modern acoustic technology, have come back from their scratches and the remnants of other manual playback techniques, and have been returned to almost the crisp, bright, live sound that going dancing in front of a live orchestra produced on those Saturday nights and Sunday afternoons. We live in a golden age, one where we can have eaten our auditory "cake", and enjoy it still... RobtheElder

古き良きスウィング全盛のジャズトロンボーン！　トミ―・ドーシー楽団の偉大さにまず感服！　1935年録音にも関わらず古さを感じないその先駆的なスウィート・トロンボーンの演奏に万歳したい。しかし収録曲が１２曲とはあまりに少ないのがこのCDの評価を下げている。せめて２０曲入りでパイド・パイパーズとかシナトラとかバンドシンガー入ってればもっと楽しめたのにって思う。３点に減点しときます。
