Stop researching and reading reviews. I have been trying different brands of waterproof speakers and these blew me away. The ability to link 2 of these together without having a dual Bluetooth capable device is awesome and if you're fortunate enough to have a device with dual bluetooth then you can link up 4 of these. The sound is excellent however the bass is just ok. BUT you cannot/should not expect big bass from such a small speaker. That leads me to my next point. It's significantly smaller than I expected which makes the sound that much more impressive. AOMAIS should have a stock photo of someone holding one in their hand. If they had I would have bought 2 of these when I first saw them over 3 months ago. Now, I haven't tested the waterproofing, phone calls or battery life just yet. Although I did have 2 of them playing for over 3 hours straight out of the box without charging at about 50% volume. I did take one apart and the seals seem like they'll do the job well enough. Anyone giving these less than 5 stars is asking way too much from their 24 bucks, or the shipping took to long (which isn't the product's fault) or was defective/damaged (which happens from time to time with any manufacturer of anything). The mounting point is another great feature which I wish was just a little deeper but that's just me being a perfectionist. The lanyard loop is another great feature. Also, it freaking floats. Very clever feature in a waterproof device. That I did test as I was writing this review. Bottom line, a great value packed into a small device.

Love this Bluetooth speaker!! It's loud enough to take to the beach or another outdoor venue and pairs with my devices easily. This is the tough and great sounding speaker that I was looking for!Update- Aug 2, 2017I'm not sure why this speaker stopped working. I have charged it 3 times, the indicator light turns blue, but there is no longer any sound coming out out of it.Very disappointed!Updated! August 10, 2017I was totally surprised by the arrival of a replacement replacement speaker! Fantastic customer service, because I didn't even Request a replacement! Love the new strap and I already knew the sound was great from this waterproof speaker so i have my music No matter if I'm home or outside. Can't ask for more than that!

I suppose I should write a review since I returned the AOMAIS Tough Bluetooth Speaker, partly because this one is so good. The sound is huge and clear. I use it for audio books and podcasts primarily, but also for big band and classical. It really has great definition. It is so much better than the AOMAIS Tough, that I returned the Tough and got another one of these so I could pair them in stereo. I actually ordered an extra two, one for each of my daughters, one of whom is in opera performance at university. It also goes a long time between charges. Fits in jacket pocket easily. Without a doubt the best bluetooth speaker I've heard except for Bose (which is 10-15 times more $$$).

I'm very impressed. I bought this for my camping/hiking trip so that my buddies and I would have music on our hikes, while kayaking, and around the campsite.The little strap was perfect for hooking it onto my backpack while hiking/kayaking, and hanging it from our shelter while around the campfire.I've dropped it multiple times and it hasn't had any affect on it, It has also survived a thunderstorm without any affect. I have yet to fully submerge it... I'm sure it will eventually happen, and at that point I'll give feedback on the result.The battery life is excellent, it lasted for several hikes without needing a charge. It also lasted for the 12 hour drive home. So far I am estimating the battery life to be at least 12 hours. It does take about 4 hours to fully charge.The sound is way better than I expected for the price I paid. I'm planning on buying a second one, because I have read that it's possible to connect two together to create what could almost be surround sound.

My wife and I had wanted one for around the house and when we are outside etc. It connected to my phone no problem. I only tested briefly, but it gets plenty loud and is really good quality, though I'm no audiophile. I can't speak to the battery life yet, but that's what power banks are for (Prime day steal as well). My wife will probably use this at school as well (music teacher). I think it will work great for her and will hold up through drops and spills if need be. I'd definitely buy again. It even has tripod mount integration, though I can't imagine ever using it.

I am thoroughly impressed by the great sound quality and volume this tiny speaker has. It is plenty loud for my uses, and sounds great. It even manages to make bass, which for something this small is impressive. The portability is perfect too. I use it in my office, at home, outside while washing the car or working on the house and it is so easy to grab and go. Connecting with Bluetooth is super easy also. The aux input is nice in the office so I can use it with my laptop too.

This is an excellent speaker! I had a little trouble at first with the power button not working properly. I contacted the Seller with the issue; almost immediately I received a replacement which works great. Great customer service! The sound is terriffic and I would definitely buy this speaker again from this seller.

This is the second AOMAIZ speaker purchased. The first one is over a year old still performing flawlessly. Easy to pair, great sound for small size and price The build quality is superb. This second speaker was meant as gift and upon opening it I noticed it did not include a 3.5mm cable to connect directly. I happen to have a cable and put it in the box so that it could be given to the person the gift was for. Other than that it has been a couple of months and the second speaker seems to be working great.

It was the photos showing the hook to make it easy to open the recharging port that attracted me to this one.Unlike the previous product, I could actually charge it and it paired fine. I placed my phone outside my bathroom and was able to listen to podcasts whilst shaving. The trouble started when I tried to listen and use the shower. Before I even switched the water on the signal dropped out. I stepped closer to the phone and it came back. At that time I was surprised because I suspected that my wireless headset ( ION Audio Tough Sounds | Industrial Bluetooth noise reduction headphones with hands-free calling and FM/AM radio ) had a longer range.A few days later I tested it in another location. With the phone near one end of my flat I saw how far I could get before the signal started dropping. With my headphones (which can receive calls as well), I could almost get to the other end (and that's going through walls). With this speaker I barely got a metre away, still had direct line of sight of my phone, before it started dropping out.In short: If you want to use this product right next to the device you're paring it with then it's worth a look. If not, then skip it. Great sound and volume. Battery lasts well during play and so on.Only 3 stars as the battery discharges as much as if it were turned on if you power it down but leave it connected to the 3.5 jack.As this is my primary connection mode with the secondary option of bluetooth it is very below par.When I power it down I expect it not to drain the battery in under a day without having to also disconnect the audio jack.

literally just dropped it on the ground and it stopped working. Just makes a high pitched noise all the time. Haven't had it for a year, so how do I get my refund or replacement? It was fine until then, worked in the shower etc. Used it for everything. Just disappointed as this is marketed as resistant to everything yet broke on a single fall.

Excellent little speakers. Well made, waterproof, good clarity and output level (especially when 2 of them are paired in stereo mode). No apparent distortion at full volume either. Recommended.

Loud, good sound quality for price-point. Rugged especially for out-door use and compact for portability!
