First thing is my dog loves this food. Her nose doesn’t run anymore. Her eyes aren’t getting goopy anymore , not bitting feet anymore and her skin is no longer bumpy or itchy, what a wonderful difference. She is like a puppy now at 11 years old. Thank you Dr Harvey for my dog feeling better and acting better.

Been a very good food for our older male cocker spanial.He sadly had to be put to sleep last month March 2025 with a few health issues he was 12 years old.We miss Rocky.

Very good food, I feel like it was well prepared and apparently (based off my dog's response)pretty favorable. He ate and licked his entire bowel. However, we ordered the 20lb bag of the allergy free mix. He seemed to more issues when he started to eat this even though he was changing from Probiotic Hollistic Lamb Meal. Also it is very expensive because after feeding him the recommended daily amount (100lb dog), the bag only lasted one week.We choose to go back to our other food and his itching and stuff have improved. Overall a good product, but just didn't work out for my canine.

My dog had no issues with Lamp flavor not big fan of this flavor at all. But we need to switch his protein so since ordered 5lb bag will have to finish it.

Notably, this food smells great, and you can clearly see (and smell) the quality from the dry mix through to the rehydrated end product. Almost tried it myself. (Almost) A great value considering the inputs. But most importantly, gone are the days of yakking when you feed the dog.

I fed my dog homemade food for awhile then concerned about vitamins I switched to dr Harvey canine health where you add protein and it was good until my dogs skin allergies were out of control and also her stools just looked undigested and loose, carrots. You couldn’t see all the ingredients. I thought that the bag labeled Allergies would be very different but same as above undigested ingredients in her stools no matter how long I let the food and water soak while making it. And her skin was flaky and spots of hair falling out. Turns out she was allergic to the ingredients and I don’t think she was getting enough nutrients with her loose stools that were undigested. I switched back to kibble (open farm) and all the skin issues have disappeared and her coat is back to normal. I have 2 whole bags unopened that I can’t return that weren’t cheap. For the price and how the ingredients are undigested in stools, y’all really fooled me into thinking it was going to be the healthiest option for my dog.

I have two 3 year old Cavalier King Charles that struggled with insane IBS, diarrhea, stomach issues for the first year of their life. After a lot of research, I came across Dr. Judy Morgan’s Instagram page, where she recommended Dr. Harvey’s. I suspected that my pups had some sort of protein allergy so we decided to give this formula a shot. Now, this took some getting used to in the beginning. This isn’t your run-of-the-mill dog food and it does require a bit of preparation. Boiling water And letting the food absorb/cool isn’t as easy as pouring kibble into a bowl, but this food is more than worth the five minutes of prep. Not only did both Molly and Cooper devour the food and still do, but their stomach issues were gone within a month and have never returned. Some may question if it’s really worth the price. For us, there’s no question. We feel that our dogs are getting a nutritionally balanced formula that supports their sensitive guts. Plus, we never have to go to the vet for random stomach issues these days. I can promise the food is cheaper than the vet bills :-)
