New Mexico Food Trails: A Road Tripper's Guide to Hot Chile, Cold Brews, and Classic Dishes from the Land of Enchantment (Southwest Adventure Series)

Best book I've seen on where and what to eat in New Mexico
Like any book on this topic, there will be favorites that are left out and other recommendations that seem a bit off base. The book is well written and has a nice flow to it, covering both particular foods and the foods found in particular areas. My wife and I have been to some of the places in book and we agree with her putting them in her book. The main fault, which has been made worse by the hit COVID put on the restaurant industry, the inclusion of places that are no longer in business. Perhaps there will be a new edition soon and I will buy it.

Nicely printed book.
This was a gift to family members who live in New Mexico and enjoy eating and travelling.

Too Little, Some Blah
First thing I did was look up the town where I live. The book mentions two places where I personally have had the worst dining experiences, 5 or 6 that aren't even IN my town but smaller towns 15 to 30 miles drive from my town and mostly the touristy spots every dining travel book mentions. If you want good "where do the locals eat" recommendations go to Yelp.
