Used to replace the hose on our Dyson DC50--perfect fit. Suction restored!

Noticed that our hose was cracked at the base and the suction wasn’t as good. My husband replaced the hose and it fit perfectly. Hestarted vacuuming the house. Very satisfied with the replacement part. We were worried that we needed to buy another vacuum but this part saved our budget.

End with red clip fits as designed into bottom of vacuum. Before inserting long part into hose, make sure to stretch it out gently to help with insertion. Must insert fully into hose in order for the top to fit into main body of vacuum correctly. Once in position, it looks great and works just as new.

This replacement hose for my Dyson dc50 was a perfect fit, restored my vacuum to original condition. Hose material is somewhat thinner than the original but it may be bette. Easy to install and an excellent value.

I bought this hose for my dyson because the original hose got a huge hole in it. I hate using it now because when I use the hose it takes me longer to jam it back into place. Most of the time I have to wait for my husband to get home to put it back. It is so frustrating! I wouldn’t waste your money on this. Just buy from Dyson!

The original manufacturer's part was not available.This one has made it possible to keep my machine rather than having to spend a few hundred on a new one.

Thank goodness for some third-party suppliers because this replaced my well used and broken hose with no trouble at all.Hats off to Dyson for making such a serviceable vacuum!
