Great buy, I currently have no regrets.

As others have said, this is a good phone with decent features for an excellent price.However... the model # stated was the SM-A022M/DS. I actually received the SM-A022G/DS. Before purchasing I had verified that the frequencies of the "M" version would work for our international travel. Fortunately the "G" is also capable. So I have it up and running and it will do the job for us. Just take care that if you specifically need the "M" model, check it on the package when it arrives.Also, this phone started up in Russian (no comment). I know it was stated as "international" but it sure was a trick trying to read through the startup information to get to the language setting. I had to compare to another Android to pick the right menu item to switch to English. The "M" version is for central and south America which would have been much easier for me to start up.Still, as mentioned above, all is well and the phone works fine now. It is on PureTalk's network, a GSM reseller that works on the ATT backbone.I knocked 1 star off for it not matching the model number.

For business

Ordered this phone for my dad. Phone has always been glitchy, slow and unresponsive. Multiple times it just completely disconnected from their Verizon network. When they went to Verizon about the issue, Verizon told them this phone is not compatible with their network. This is stated now on the product page but wasn’t when we originally purchased. They had to buy a new phone. Wish we could get our money back on this product.

Nice to have an unlocked phone

The phone worked fine for about two weeks then AT&T upgraded their network in my area (Southern California) and data stopped working. I could still make calls, and SMS messages, but no longer had data or MMS messaging. There's a reason it comes with no warranty. It's a good device, the image quality and camera were way better than the phone this was supposed to replace, but in the end all it ended up being was an expensive lesson.

I just received my Samsung Galaxy A02 last week and so far I love it. I can talk and text with ease. By the way this is my first smartphone and I could not be happier. Highly recommend this phone.

Good phone. The lighting ( screen could be brighter) and camera quality is not great and the phone is a little slow but overall for the price it is great.
