I usually don’t see an ad for something and buy it. However I saw an ad for these and purchased two for my garage. I only have two socket lights out there. I was expecting some more light but holy crap! It’s like the surface of the sun out there now. I’m really impressed with how much light is coming from them. They seem sturdy enough and nothing has caught in fire. So there’s that. Best gadget I’ve bought in a really long time. Very pleased!

I'm now blind and typing by memory.Do you want to light up the interior of your home, garage, basement, or make a trouble light that has a lumen power of over 9000? This is the way to do it. There's so much light output from this adapter that you can see into the future.This piece of absolute bright machinery has given me the super power of foresight.Are you not mechanically inclined? That's fine. All you need to do is understand which way to turn a bulb and how to put on a welding mask because this thing may give you potato eyes if you look at it while flicking the switch. Wear sunscreen, you just might get a tan.

good price but quality seems poor and holders may not hold the bulbs very well

THE GOOD: This is an ingenious solution for adding more usable light to single socket porcelain bulb holders. I’m running $1 9 watt LED’s from Dollar Tree in mine. Each unit has 7 x 9w = 63 total watts, well below my base’s max rating of 100w.They really fill my garage with usable light. And economical too: 7 socket unit is $10, plus 7 LED’s comes out to $17 per unit.THE BAD: Unfortunately one unit has a defective center socket. A huge disappointment because it doesn’t match my other units. This is the only reason for my one star rating.

I have been using mine in experiment to grow vegies indoors. Using high cri led e26 base lights, and its working far better than expected. The light is wired with extremely light guage elec wire, so putting in a bulb (LED) thats any bigger than 15 watts is ill advised, and I know about these things. Just sayin.for my purpous, they work great. And 7 1500 lumen led's is very.. very.. bright. Hope this is of use.
