CASTELLICycling Endurance 3 Bibshort for Road and Gravel Biking l Cycling - Black - X-Large

Runs Small but Comfortable.
I currently have about 200 miles on mine and am starting to see some wear. They are stretching in some spots so they don't fit as well as when they were new. However they are still comfortable and at their current rate they should last another 100 miles or so. This seems short for the price but these are better than the $30 pair I normally get.

Great bibs! runs small but very high quality!
These run very small, definitely use the sizing guidelines and then add some! I'm 6'3" 210 lbs, 38" waist (measured, not pant size), 44" hips. 24" upper thigh, 19" near knee at opening. I ordered the 3XL and it BARELY fits. If there was a 4XL, I would order it but this works. The stitching and quality is fantastic with no rough or loose seams. Definitely my best bibs.

Believe it, order TWO sizes larger than their size table.
I used the size table they provide for calculating my specific size.According to that table, my size was "M". I ordered "L" to be on the safe side. When I received it, I found it a little bit tight but usable. I decided to wear it anyway on a short ride and the feeling was just OK on the bottom but the upper part was mildly uncomfortable.I am sure the "XL" would've been a better choice. I won't return it because I don't feel it is right after having used it a few times. But don't you make the same mistake. It is a quality garment overall and the chamois is made of really high tech materials. However I think the sizing they use is geared towards competition and gives prevalence to aerodynamics over comfort.

These bibs are awesome!
If I could give 6 stars I would. The chamois is very comfortable and I can ride for 3+ hours with no discomfort. I do wish the straps were a bit longer but I am long-waisted.

Way too small, especially if you're on the taller side
I'm 6'2" and measured in between a M and L by the size chart, so decided to go with a L. It was too small. The shoulder straps dug painfully into my shoulders and the legs were so tight circulation was cut off and my legs started going numb almost instantly. I've owned many pairs of bib shorts by different manufacturers, so I know how they should fit. They should be tight, but not painful like these. All other bib short brands I own are a size L or smaller. I'm not sure what person Castelli is designing their shorts for, but they didn't measure them for the size chart. I am not super athletically built and would say my thighs are on the thinner side, but these were just uncomfortably tight. I was in pain almost instantly in my groin and shoulders. I would try a larger size, but I have a feeling I would still not order large enough. I'm going to try and find them locally instead so I can try before buying, or just get another brand altogether. The overall quality seemed nice though, especially the chamois. It was dense in the right places without being bulky. The shoulder straps are the older mesh style that twist up when donning and dug in painfully being too short. Stitching was even and strong and style was nice. I just wish the size chart was more accurate and included height. If you're on the shorter side, the chart will probably be accurate for you, but you still may want to order at least a size up from where you measure.

Better Bib Choices Out There
First off, keep in mind that Castelli cycling clothing fits small for American riders because they are a European company. One usually needs to size up one size if not 2 sizes to get a comfortable fit. I didn't care for this particular model of Castelli bib shorts. The material seems "stiffer" and less stretchy than their other models. They also run slightly shorter in both the inseam length and torso/waist area. Add to that the significant amount of mesh area at the top of the short around the waist allows that mesh area to show at the bottom of most jerseys when in the cycling position. Also, in my opinion, the seat pad is sewn in too far back although that pad is of very nice quality. I would recommend trying Castelli's Competizione model over the Endurance 3 which I believe is better in every way and the seat pad is nearly as nice.

My favorite so far
Have only been using these a few weeks. But these are definitely a favorite for me. I have typically just used cheaper bibs as I didn't want to spend much for the time I was on the bike. But have tried a couple of more expensive sets as I've been increasing my riding time. These are significantly more comfortable than previous sets I've owned. Same pad as their high end bibs. I ordered based on their size chart and they are very snug. However, the chamois is very comfortable and I have found the snugger fit to be more comfortable during my time on the bike. And either I'm getting more used to the fit or they are stretching some.

Très confortable
Comme souvent indiqué, taille très petit, prendre 1 taille au dessus de la votre. Je fais L/ XL j ai pris du 2XL est je suis bien, rien de trop. Sinon très confortable, sortie de 10h sur le vélo sans problème.
