The watch is reset regularly 4 times a day by the smartphone to show both home time and world time correctly. You can also reset the watch manually with just a push of a button when crossing between time zones. The precise time in the current location is displayed instantly with DST (daylight saving time) taken into account. Accurate time information (UTC) is acquired by a smartphone from a time server on the Internet. The smartphone then analyzes this time data and its own current positioning data regarding the time zone and DST (daylight saving time) status of the current location and resets the watch to the correct time automatically. Since Wi-Fi communication is also possible, the smartphone can also acquire time information in indoor environments such as airports or subways. The smartphone app can be used to conduct world time city selection. After a city is selected by touch from a world map or a city list containing over 300 cities, the time in the selected city is displayed on an inset dial with DST (daylight saving time) taken into account. Home Time is displayed on the main dial and World Time on the inset dial at 8 o'clock in a 12-hour format. The time zone and AM/PM status of the selected city are also displayed, moreover, on the 3D globe dial at 3 o'clock. Switching between the two city time displays can be conducted with button operation or using the app. The movement of the large 3D globe dial is driven by a high-torque dual coil motor. While operating the dial to mirror the earth's rotation, it realizes smooth, expressive movements when changing world time city settings. Tough Solar converts light to electric power to support stable operation of multiple functions. Adoption of a shadow-dispersing solar panel with excellent power-generation efficiency enables solar-powered operation of various functions through smartphone linkage. Day and night are displayed for the selected World Time city. When it is night time in the regions in the upper half of the globe dial, it is daytime in the regions in the lower half.

Nice watch be a bit over priced
I collect watches and wanted to add a Casio to my collection. This watch is built well and it's very functional expecially if you travel a lot. My problem is I think the watch is way over priced. This watch should sell for $149.99 retail. This is not a $400 watch by any stretch.

Really interesting technology for the traveler
For the money, quite a useful watch. I look forward to traveling with it. Pros: stylish and easy to use with the app. Very complicated to adjust using the crown. But with the app, you need not adjust via the crown. 100m water resistance means you can shower and dip in the pool with it. All functions work as advertised. Battery lasts and lasts with easy solar recharge. Cons: only has a little lume and it only lasts for 2 minutes. I deducted a star for this flaw. Bracelet looks good and works fine, but it's a little on the light side. WARNING: this watch is shipped with the crown open. If you put it in water before you screw in the crown, it will immediately damage the watch. I read one review in which the purchaser complained that the watch was not waterproof. I'm almost certain that poor fellow jumped in his pool, not realizing the crown was unscrewed and open. It is waterproof with a good screw down crown. It mystifies me why they would ship it with the crown open and Unscrewed. It looks giant in the picture but in real life it fits quite well. I have a 7.25 inch rest. Worth the money. Better then Radio Controlled.
It's a nice watch.Found it to be as advertised.The best feature of this watch is the two time zones and that it could be very cleverly updated thru the watch app."No unnecessary Stop watch functions. And cluttering on watchface"No need to have any Radio Signals as they are not available every where in the world.I'm a frequent traveler in different continents and to have a watch which I don't need to adjust is an amazing thing.I love it.I chose this watch instead of a citizen AT9010 which is like $400. And I don't know why on earth that watch keeps changing price every week ??This is my personal honest opinion.

Watch is good, app is abismal !
Let me start by saying the watch is great...however for the 600 model the essential feature and the reason I purchased this watch, is the Bluetooth connectivity. Casio's app (from Google Play as I'm an Android user) works....BUT when running in the background it interferes with my WiFi access, it appears to use 100% of the bandwidth. I looked at the reviews on PLAY and a lot of people are having problems with the app. My phone is not a mainstream phone (its a Ulephone Power) but for those that know, its open and uses standard Android 6....the Casio app makes all other WiFi access impossible for me.Sorry there was no way to check this out before purchasing....as I said the WATCH is great I love that....but 5 stars becomes 2 since I cannot leave the app installed and running....
