Takes a little fine-tuning.
It takes a few tries to dial this in, but once you do, it very cleanly and accurately slices through the sheath. Start conservatively and spin it around the cable a few times. If it doesn’t cut all the way through, turn the dial to extend the blade a little. You’ll feel when it starts to hit the copper strands, then back it off a little. If you can practice on a scrap piece of cable. Then, do all the same size cable as you need before readjusting the blade.

The way to strip round wire
I had to strip a bit of 6 guage round wire and this did an awesome job! Once you have it adjusted it is quick and easy with no cut strands.

This thing is great!
I bought it to cut battery cables (2, 0, and 00 gauge). It has worked like a champ. I'm kinda sad that I'm done making cables actually because I liked using it so much. It does take a little practice, but if you watch a video on how to use it, it'll help a lot.

Works well
Much less expensive then other brands.Has fine adjustment for blade extension.I’m using it on a insulated wire that’s 1/4” in diameter.Insulation is very thin so care needs to be taken to have success and I’m able to say I have had success without trouble once it’s dialed in.Does tend to walk as you cut but I think that is the nature of this style of cutter. (A cutter without a way to keep the position in check like on a pipe cutter that has wide rollers opposite of the cutting wheel.)

Works great!
I am wiring my batteries for a solar system and this was just the ticket for 4/0 connecting wires! You can set it to the exact depth you want to cut without nicking the inner wires. Way better than trying to use a knife or other strippers!

Works well
Works great once you get the hang of adjusting the depth. Inserting the wire in to the blade and then adjusting depth just shy of wire and worked perfectly. Used on both stranded and solid from 10AWG to 2/0AWG.

Doesn't work. Wish I had known.
Yeah, I know. People write that you just have to adjust it (people who are probably related to the seller). No, that isn't the issue. I get the adjustment, but the blade—which needs to be perpendicular to the wire—is free-flowing. So it just spins to wherever it wants to be. And the natural drag of the blade will turn it inline with the wire, in which case it doesn't cut anything. After waiting for a couple of days to get this, I ended up just doing the old school strip with a carpet knife. Bought it for an install of 4g and 6g wires to a sub-panel. Wish I hadn't waited for it.

Easy to use, easy to damage a cable because the red wheel easy to turn (I have to use electrical tape to keep it in proper position).

Pretty much useless
This thing is a piece of garbage. The blade twists as you try to cut the cable.
