An Author, Lecturer Who Open Your Eyes to the Word of God.
I have a pre-publication copy of the manuscript that the author gave to me in 1980 or 1983. Arnold is the found and President of Ariel Ministries in Houston, TX. A Messianic Jew, he is in demand as a teacher, lecturer, preacher and authority of the Bible and prophecy. After receiving my BS in English Bible at Calvary Bible College and a bit of one year on an Master's of Divinity at Northwest Baptist Seminary (Now Coram) in Tacoma, WA, he spoke in the church in Roseburg, OR that my new wife and I attended. I was amazed, and baffled, by some of the things that he presented. I asked I could buy him take him to breakfast and we were there at the table for three hours as I kept asking about what he had taught. That was not the last meal we had together.Later I had the privilege of hosting him in two churches that I pastored and at the state prison in California where I served as the Protestant Chaplain for twenty years before retiring. He presented seminars there on three occasions.Of all that he has prepared in print and on DVD, my favorite is, "The Life of Messiah from a Jewish Perspective". He uses A.T. Robertson's "A Harmony of the Gospels" to follow the life of Christ chronologically from his birth to his ascension. However, he bring the understand of a Jewish man who was school by his Orthodox Rabbi Grandfather. That distinction bring a fresh understanding of the Word of God.In the early days I took a lot of guff from pastors and seminary professors because I subscribed to many of the teachings that he holds to. Even my father-in-law scoffed at what he taught. Much of that changed around 1993 when others began to seem surprised that I knew Dr. Fruchtenbaum. I loaned several books, usually, "Footsteps of the Messiah."As I said early on, he is in demand, but not only in the US, he speaks all over the world, spending extended tours of Hawaii, New Zealand, and other places. Of course he spends a lot of time here in the States, including teaching at a Bible College in Alaska and in California (LA).If you are looking for guidance in understanding the Word with an Jewish influence, he is one of the foremost authorities.

Well written Biblically sound. This author has the gift of teaching by explaining the written Word of God and referring to it throughout his teachings. Never strays from the word but stays in the word throughout his explanations

Song of Solomon treat!
Good book. Provides a wonderful view point of the Song of Songs. I had to get it for a class that focuses on the Wisdom Literature of the Bible and it has definitely given me some new insight to the Word of God and His purpose for our marriages and how to go about being honorable in dating, courtship and marriage!

Please read this book
If you are Christian and looking for a deeper understanding of God's beautiful creation - Sex, then read this book. It has changed my view on the once avoided topic of sex. This book speaks of biblical truth, uncovering what many outside of the church feel the church shuns or judges others upon. It's short and to the point!

unique
This book I have to be unique in its approach to the song of songs. Mostly Christians struggle to deal theologically with these issues of sex and either become excessively preoccupied by them, or else embarrassed to discuss them. It is good to have a solid Biblical affirmation of marital relations. Our view is typically duallistic with the idea of the 'soul' being higher and 'better' than the body, but the Biblical view is solidly concrete with God calling Creation good, and investing his Image in a fleshly body. There is no soul apart from the body, and the body is made good. Our prediliction for evil is not a consequence of our bodies but of our inner being. Therefore there is a time and place for all the functions and joys of the body, marital sex being one of them. This book begins a theology of marriage and can help create a template for mutual love and appreciation to sustain and enliven a real marriage. My only reservations are that I have not fully studied the book (there is a lot to digest), and therefore am cautious not to be too effervescent in praise, but so far all I have found is good.
