Fun book to look at, lots of pictures of old gas stations, diners, and motels from the golden age of travel. I would like to go back to experience this type travel, but not having A/C in the car would be miserable during the summer!! You were lucky if you had a model that hung out the passenger side window you put cold water or ice in to keep you cool. Kind of like a portable swamp cooler - haha. The tops in comfort.
