Homedics Paraspa Plus Paraffin Bath

A little of an expensive treat for aching hands. I have arthritis that comes and goes in my hands and this is so-o-o soothing. It didn't take long to need more wax even recycling the used wax -- you can do that if only one person is using the machine. It takes awhile for the wax to melt each time so you have to allow time for that plus the time you keep it on your hands (20 - 30 minutes.)

Bought this to help with my hands that now have arthritis. Playing the piano with arthritis is hard and I've tried everything and this was my last idea. It does take 3 hrs to initially melt the wax so plan ahead. After that, 1.5 hrs. It really makes a difference. I've tried twice now and it really helps my hands and fingers. I was really impressed and highly recommend. I also tried it on my feet and yes, I can put my foot in there, no problem. I used as a facial on my face and it left it nice and soft. It's like a spa at home. My only caution is that I find the wax hot on my fingers. Maybe they are more sensitive (I have Reynauds) so I have to dip quickly and carefully because of that. Highly recommend.

Like the product but did not realise that it was wired for USA . Had to buy a large adapter to change to Australian use

Bought in Mar 2023 used for awhile then shut it off . Now in Nov 2024 it doesn’t work , no heat no lights. Another piece of junk destined for the local land fill site.
