Wanted to love these and used them a few times to see if I could. Thongs work fine but the grip/handle component, where the wood-like material is, is rough to touch and doesn’t seem to be holding up with light hand washing after use - already seeing some discoloration. I needed something in a pinch, they did the job, but I’m not confident in how long they will last.

The metal parts of the salad tongs function fine and seem rather durable. The wooden handles however were atrocious. The handle scales were slabs of wood cut at a right angle and glued to the metal tongs, and were so uncomfortable as to be unusable as delivered. Beyond that, the wood wasn’t even cut very straight. It took around 30 minutes of sanding to smooth out all of the sharp edges. They are fine after a little elbow grease, but if you aren’t in for a bit of a DIY affair maybe steer clear.

They work like they should but the handles did into your skin very uncomfortable to use

This looks nice, but does not fit my or my wife’s hand at all! The openings for your hand are to small.

Not sturdy and looks and feels poor quality

This really is a beautiful salad tong. The only problem is I can't open it wide enough with one hand. I have to use two hands to get the salad out of the bowl. It feels a bit awkward. I was so happy when I opened the package. Then was disappointed when I went to use it and could not get it to open wide enough to grab the lettuce leaves with one hand.
