fair build great budget film lens
Good quality for a manual focus video lens. The issue with any of these budget film lenses is that the sharp points of the focus are never actually in focus when youre below about an f3.2 aperture. If youre always filming above that you will have clean noticeable focus.

Focus ring is very stiff compared to the 35mm one.
great lense, but focus is a lot heavier than the other one I got.

Liked the lens
I liked the lens but ultimately returned it for the canon 50mm 1.8 since it was AF. I was not prepared to spend another 1-2 hundred or more to fully kit this out for video. I have a canon 1.4 but it is quite noisy. The 1.8 was a compromise on some level, but I do not have thousands to get a real cinematic lens.
