Another great book by Jen Gale helping us make little changes in all our lives (even as exhausted parents) to add up to big positive impacts for our planet!

This book is a breathe of fresh of air (or renewable wind). Jen has an amazing style of writing, informative and witty and non judgemental. It is clear that she is passionate about sustainability but also realistic about the pressures that people face in their every day lives. This books lays out a host of incredibly practical solutions for making lifestyle changes and leaves the reader to decide which actions best suit their lifestyle. I can imagine this book will become a dog eared edition to my household because we will be dipping in and out of frequently as we continue to make adjustments to our lifestyle.

I loved Jen Gale's first book and this one is just as good, if not better. It's fizzing with up-to-the-minute information and inspiration for green parenting (from baby stage to teenage). Jen's writing style is brilliant (and witty) and she is refreshingly honest/realistic about the environmental challenges of raising a family, especially where eco-decisions are taken as a collective (read: compromise). Hence '-ish' as in 'Sustainable(ish).' I've worked in the environmental sector for decades, and despite being a 'professional' I learned a lot of great tips from this book. Highly recommended.

what a love about this book is that it's not preachy. The author obviously knows what it's like to bring up kids and the mayhem that causes. She makes you feel like you can do a few easy things to start making a difference and then do some more. I know I will keep referring back as the kids grow.
