There are 70 slots and then on the front part there are 2 more and holders for maybe a pencil sharpener and a ruler. I love the organization and that it firmly holds the pencils I just bought in place.

I got the black one and am pleased with the quality. Fabric is nice and appears to be easy to wipe clean, zippers run smoothly and are substantial! The stitching everywhere is tight and neat. Inside the color is grey and I have noticed that putting my Inktense pencils in and out of the elastic slots does leave a mark...not from the lead but from that painted end of the pencil...I think it would be a good idea to use dark fabrics on the interior of these. All of the elastic bands are properly sewn and seem to be not too tight nor too loose...they do hold the standard pencil sized Intense in there securely. The number of 72 slots does include the two slots that are on the side with the erase slot...I had thought those might be for extra pencils. It has a small exterior handle that is fine and seems appropriate. All in all it is a quality made case at a reasonable price. I would surely purchase again if I need another case any time!

I love this pencil holder. I originally bought it for my sister to keep all her Sharpies in, and when it came in I loved it so much that I bought me one too. I can tell it's not the highest quality because the fabric is pretty thin, but it's nice enough to do its job. The spaces are a little tight for Sharpies so I had to skip a space here and there, but I was able to comfortably fit 60 Sharpies with room for a few more in the future. It's compact and easy to fit in bags and has a really cute honeycomb pattern on the outside. I did a lot of research on these since not many that are cheap can hold sharpies, and this is definitely the best one.

I use this pencil case to hold 48 gel pens, two pencils, and an eraser. I would not recommend putting anything larger than a gel pen, because the slots are kind of small. Mine is a little full, but it is durable enough to hold up to the 'wear and tear'; Although one of the zippers falls out of the thingy that gets the zipper to zip (I don't know what they are called), but it is not a very big deal to me. I got the blue color and it is very pretty, and has a slight shine to it. the slots inside are small, but that is a good thing for me because when there are large slots, pencils and pens tend to fall out. I think the price was very reasonable and I would recommend this to anyone in need of a place to store pencils, or a school student who carries a lot of writing utensils.

Its also has 10 slots to spare afterwards and even a place for erasers and pencils. The zippers are super sturdy too

This organizer is perfect for me.I am an artist, but I am also an organized person. Being visual, I utilize color-coded systems in my planning and recording of things. I have tried other devices for storing pens, pencils, leads, erasers, markers, etc in a way that allows easy access and quick use, all to minimal success.THIS is the superior storage device for organizing my frequent-use writing implements!With 4 sections closed by a zipper, each section featuring both a left & right 'leaf', you can store a surprising number of things in this.Each 'page' has a running elastic band sewn into the 'page', dividing the elastic band into loops to hold your pen or pencil. I did cut the stitching on a few loops to create one large loop out of two adjacent small loops; this allowed me to store fatter markers. It works well, so long as the facing page only stores regular-sized pens/pencils.I whole-heartedly recommend this item. I just wish I had stumbled upon it years ago.

I am so happy with this purchase! Fits all my pencils, Microns, prismas and eraser and sharpener in a compact case! All zippers worked perfectly and everything fit just right. Size is perfect for a backpack or moderately sized purse. I'm starting to draw again and having everything all in one and organized just how I like it is perfect. And the price is great for all the space you get!

I thought the price was great for this item. It's not bad by any stretch of the imagination; it's great quality BUT the elastic for the slots are made for pencils- not pens. I thought I would be able to get away putting in my pens for bullet journaling and coloring but it didn't work and I had to use every other slot. Even then, it would not close flush and is really bulky. The material is great, I love the color. The zippers ARE NOT stretchy!

I ordered this for my staedtler pens pack of 48. It works amazing. I spaced out the pens so they wouldn't be so tight together since there was enough slides for that. I had two pens and one space, alternating to the end. I just got it, but so far I like it.

The case itself is very nice and would be great for pencil crayons as advertised. After reading the dimensions I wanted this for my daughters Tombow Dual brush markers, thinking they would fit as they are long and narrow (like a pencil crayon). They do fit but you can only get 6-7 per page but then when filling the opposite page it becomes difficult to close.Leaving this review because I spent a long time trying to find a case to hold the Tombows and want to help others looking as well

This holds my coloured pencils well, and zips up nicely when completely full. Not off-gassing from dubious materials or dyes. Great product.
