For any Carpenters fan this book is a must.There are photographs that I hadn't seen before and overall it is a quality product.

Upon hearing there was a new”Carpenters” book out I raised my eyes .. All been done before stop ripping off the public…but like a sheep ready to be milked .. I bought itWas it worth it ?How much more “ new “ information could be learned it’s got to be awful .WrongI hadn’t even read the authors note the introduction notes before whooping with glee. Jacket sleeve is one go the best Cs pics done & taken from the A Kind Of Hush LP pic sessions & the back AsTime Goes By session pics.A inner page has the same wallpaper as the inside of the Hush jacket LP had.The Hardback Has “Carpenters “(A dark version of the Tan Album) but from then on the pictures facts figures information plus more left me stunned and on a different planet & I just shut everything out such was my absolute joy at this creative creation.This to me was like having a new Carpenters LP out with my memories of the feeling I felt years ago when something new record wise did come out altho in those days No social media advertising as such & you told nobody you loved the Cs for fear of ridicule until some “hip” stated they were “cool” & then practically everyone loved them. Sheep milk tine🙄I thought I knew most of about everything Carpenters wise … I hadn’t even even scratched the surface.Ray Coleman’s The authorised storyRandy Schmidt’s Littje Girl Blue & Yesterday Once More told me so much & this work is on par with the above ALL No1s as far as I’m concerned.That’s itSay no moreBuy this & the above even if you are only appreciative of good music and good honest informative books and not a big Carpenters fan.“ All my best memories come back clearly to me some can even make me cry . A must-read for any Carpenters fan, with much here that I have not seen elsewhere, no doubt thanks to Richard's close involvement. Richard turns out to be a strong critic of his own work, though the minutiae of the many remixes he's done are probably of interest to only the most obsessed Carpenters fan. The book's organization is confusing and it's a great shame that album track listings are omitted and that under the song-by-song listings many songs have just white space under "notes". Nevertheless a great read with lots of inside information and very well illustrated.

This is a great carpenters book (400 pages), covers everything they ever released , really informative great for any fan of the carpenters . Must have!

An immense book that's full of in-depth information on their career and recordings. There are also endless photos of super-rare memorabilia from Richard's archive.

At 384 pages , this is a great book. Not only a beautiful cover but for the first time the story is told by Richard Carpenter. Album by album chapters , a full discography and billboard pictures and loads of rare images ! A must have for Carpenter fans and a great add to any Carpenters collection. Very happy customer here !

Really good value from Amazon and good quality book. As a huge fan I thought I knew everything about the duo but we get some real insights from the authors to do with their career. No way was I giving this less than 5 stars.
