Mikasa 5224778 16 Piece Dinnerware Set, Antique White

This dinnerware set has a very understated, elegant French design. They are durable, scratch and chip resistant, and as practical as they are beautiful. There were a few very small imperfections on some of the dishes -- just a few small specs here and there, but they are hardly noticeable. I am very happy with my purchase.

Love the classic design. Very strong and is chip resistant too. My last Mikasa dinner set is still in use after 12 years of constant use.

I was very happy about this set I have bought 12 months ago. However, now the mugs start cracking. There is a pool of water on the table. Too bad

I’ve bought this set roughly 2 months ago & used it about 5-6 times when we have guests. Recently, I went to use it & after dinner, I picked up the smaller plate by the edge to wash it, it broke in half. I have no idea why since there’s no cracks or anything upon inspection. Maybe this plate was flawed from beginning. I’m very careful of washing it & storing it so I honestly don’t know why it broke in half. I love this set but considering how fragile it is, I’m afraid to use it on a regular basis.

This is my second set of Mikasa dishes and the first set lasted 30 plus years and still used when needed.
