Perfect Fit for my 07 Chevy HHR!Lost all forward gears but still had reverse still.

Long Story short car would not go forward but could reverse, “expert”mechanics told me I’d need a new Transmission blah blah blah. Turns out this is a common issue with worn GM transmissions. Installed on 2004 Grand Am. Installation was easy at least for me. They usually fail where the weld meets the bracket due to high pressure. You’ll need to drop the transmission pan mine had 8mm(5/16) Bolts, remove transmission filter and this will be right above the filter. There were Four 8mm bolts holding this on and just reverse the steps and Change transmission fluid, filter and pan gasket while the pan is off. The last ones are optional but it’ll save you time later down the road.

The media could not be loaded.  Pulled up to a stoplight and car suddenly lost forward and reverse gears. This fixed it. These commonly break at the weld. Drop pan and filter and lines are right there 4 bolts and it’s out easy to install and has o rings pre installed just bolt on refill fluid and go. Felt and looked just like the original.

My car would not go forward and would only go in reverse. Changed this out and now it works like new.

Looks good have not installed yet looks like a full weekend jobLook worthwhile try according to YouTube don’t know haven’t started my project looks like it’ll be a two day job I’ll let you know great price great value even if it makes a nice knickknack.

Fixed my kids car it was easy to install yet I was told the transmission was bad it all it was this part was broken.

Was used but in good shape.Car goes in foward now
