Good quality cold frame
Found this frame well packaged and in great condition. Initially spent some time coating with some waterproof colour and found the assembly relatively easy. Looking forward to using throughout the year.

Looks just like picture, fairly easy to assemble
This arrived today, much earlier than the estimated date. I put it together myself, just a screwdriver is needed. I agree with others that the instructions aren't detailed enough. Could do with a zoom in on which way round the pieces go. But you work it out, screw it in and it's done in about 40 mins. Feels sturdy enough and the construction of the parts appear good. It looks really smart and is the right depth for seedling trays.Also, you do have to paint it to protect the wood. I'll update the review if anything changes but so far so good.

Just what she wanted
Excellent delivery, well packaged, easy for 1 person to assemble. As this cold frame is made from soft wood I decided to beef up the construction by fixing extra batons to the back and under the shelves before painting the whole thing with Cuprinol urban slate exterior wood paint for longevity. The wall fixing supplied are rather flimsy so used my own. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed putting this product together, it is of good design with clear assembly instruction and will hopefully last a good few years with proper care.

Better than expected
Although made with fairly lightweight wood, it is quite sturdy. I did take the manufacturer's advice and applied a coat of wood preservative ( before assembly). Assembly instructions were ok, the various screws etc. were packed in separate small marked bags so are easily identified. It was simple to put together and can be done single handed. Make sure the side panels are the correct way round. The "lip" must be at the bottom facing inwards so that the bottom shelf rests on it. All in all I am very pleased with this purchase and consider it very good value for money.......

needs painting / varnish
Easy to assemble but really bad instruction manual. Needs some thinking as to what goes where, especially the top bits.Also you will NEED to paint or at least varnish it as it comes only with primer. Will immediately rot if left as is.Quality is exceptionally bad considering the price. Lots of woodfiller to hide factory sins.Definitely not recommend. Get a cheaper one. At least you will get what you paid for..

Slightly disappointed
Although looks nice, it’s smaller than I anticipated. I did measure so my fault. Not as sturdy as I would have liked. Not great value for the cost.

Love my greenhouse
The media could not be loaded. Looks lovely and i am really happy with the greenhouse. Assembling can be a bit difficult unless you’re handy with some basic tools. Over all I would recommend :)

Needs repainting
Like: Nice size, shape. Arrived as per schedule date.Didn't like: the fact that the instructions say it needs repainting or varnishing. This might have been written in the description, but if it did, I didn't see it. I have varnished it, but it was a pain to have to do so.Didn't like: that the doors could do with a handle. I am going to get two handles and add them myself.Otherwise, it is a nice little greenhouse which I will use and enjoy.
