Item not as per description
I only got 3 pockets instead of 42 pockets(as mentioned in the item title and option selected)The 3 pockets also were missing the inner black basket and the irrigation system. The only item received was 1 green basket with 3 pockets. NOT AT ALL WORTH FOR THE PRICE.. 0 star

(Edited for over a year of Ownership) This was easy to mount
July 2019 Edit: My hope was to use this for long-term keeping of herbs like mint of various types, lavender, rosemary, thyme, cilantro and basil. All have lived and died in these planters several times in the last year. They are still nicely designed and easy to keep clean, however they simply aren't enough for any of the above plants. All of them become root-bound and die out eventually. There is simply not enough soil to support gardening. This isn't mis-represented by the description, or a problem with the design. It is simple fact. If you know that your plants can handle less soil you will still love this set.Original review:This was easy to mount, and has worked great so far (a month.) We planted herbs for our cocktail bar in it, and you can see in the photo I mounted it to a standard pallet (along with some wheels) for an easily portable garden.I am considering building a 2.0 version as well, and will buy these again when I do.The watering system really overwaters the top plants before it gets to the bottom. No stars deducted because it is very easy to individually water each plant, and I feel like the self watering won't matter until they are all full and growing.

This plant hanger is AMAZING and has self watering built in!
I cannot say enough about these plant hangers, they were everything we were looking for! The directions and setup was straightforward and easy, I have NEVER seen a plant hanger with a self watering system, this is so cool. We purchased 3 and setup one inside and two outside. There were 12 pieces in each box and each piece has 3 pockets so I can fit 36 flowers in one unit. They look fantastic and really add an element of peace and beauty to the areas we put them in. I will also point out that these are very high quality, we bought a similar one prior (with no self watering) and it was very poorly made, and the pockets were cracking. We plan to buy several more for our outdoor deck area and build them across the wall since the self watering element will save us significant time in having to maintain watering the flowers. The company is great about customer service and a 3 year warranty to me was unheard of, we are very pleased with this item and have nothing but positive things to say about it!

Durable wall garden system but needs a little improvement
I liked that this planter was made out of plastic which i felt would be more durable than the more common fabric or felt that seems to be used for wall planters. I installed this on a barn door, attaching a 2"x1"x4' strip for mounting so I didn't put more screw holes in my door. The provided drip line is helpful but instead of using their tubing with their T-barbs as the drippers, i used their tubing to connect to my 1/2" drip line, and connected that to a dripper line with 6" spacing and I placed it just above the top row with the included wall clips. I felt the T-barbs as drippers would send too much water to the wall planter relative to the rest of my garden. This worked well so I can open & close the barn door without pinching or stretching the 1/4" line, and the 1/4" line is flexible enough to hang down on the side of the door when I open it.Learnings:1. As i used a 2x1 strip to mount to my barn door, I needed to add another 1x1 strip at the bottom of each row to keep the planters from leaning inward.2. The drip holes you want to plug up, plug well with the provided plugs3. The drip holes didn't drip the water neatly into the lower row, quite a bit of water dripped on my barn door, so I used installed 1/2" tubing under each drip hole to send the water directly down to the next row.3. the drip holes seem to be a little too tall to properly distribute the water. The top row gets A LOT of water, and the lower rows get water after 2-3 days of running it (I use 6 minute intervals 2x/day). When I have time, I'll try to shave 1-2 mm off the top of the drip holes to see if that works better. The top row ends up pooling a lot of water due to the height of the drip holes.

So far so good for my crazy indoor hydroponic wall garden!
I decided to make a vertical hydroponic wall garden in my apartment to grow leafy greens. I have an aeroponic tower garden on my patio that I've really enjoyed for years, and I wanted to up my garden game. Since I live in an apartment with no back yard, my garden had to expand to the indoors. These planters seem to be great for my set up. I'm only 10 days into planting some lettuce and herb seeds directly into the system, so I'm not sure how well it will do yet. So far things seem to be growing well. I have a water pump set up on a timer in a 20 gallon food safe tote that I run. Along the bottom I have a drain pipe that directs the water back into the tote to be recycled again. I was worried about plants getting root rot or becoming root bound and causing water to overflow over the lip of the pots so I used large net pots that I cut up to form a little cage that I set aerogarden type grow pods in. This way the roots aren't sitting in any kind of grow medium that will keep things super wet, and I can lift the plant pod out of the cage to inspect and potentially trim the roots if needed. I used hydroton to cover the cages I built. I'm hoping the layer of hydroton is enough to shade the roots from my light system, but only time will tell. I have a bunch of water leak sensors all around the unit in case things go wrong. I will try to post an update in a few weeks once the system has been running for a while and has some substantial plants growing in it. I've never made anything like this before so I'm sure there will be kinks to work out, but so far I would recommend these planters. They were easy to put together, and if I wasn't planting inside, I think I wouldn't have had to make so many additions or modifications to make sure I don't flood my apartment or have it sound like I live next to Niagara Falls. Great price, great quality, looks amazing.

Creates a beautiful Living Wall.
All the separate pots assemble into a beautiful living wall. Very well made and superior quality. We built a window box style frame to go around the plants. We are going to be ordering another one for the inside of the house. LOVE IT! Paul
