Deliver Us from Evil

This movie completely took me by surprise. Although it's a different story, if you liked Man On Fire with Denzel Washington, you will love this movie. The fight scenes are incredibly choreographed. They remind me of the white-knuckle experience of the Jason Bourne movies with Matt Damon. This film was superb in every way...great writing, story, acting, and directing. Behind French films, for me, many Korean filmmakers produce outstanding films that continue to amaze me. Well done!

this is one of the best movies I ever saw from the 'well go usa' movie company! its basically a movie about 2 bad asses, a yakuza vs. a hitman going at it in a cat in mouse beat em up car chase filled thrill ride. one seeking revenge, the other seeking redemption. this movie had it all!! cant recommend this title enough. both stars also were in another gr8 yakuza undercover movie together called 'new world' which I also highly recommend. so it was cool seeing these 2 guys together again!! go see it!!!

Hwang Jung-min was ready to retire as an assassin when he finds out he’s wanted by a gangster Lee Jung-jae for the last murder he committed. Not only that but a child he didn’t know he had went missing in Thailand. Jung-min plays a cold blooded killer but finds his humanity with his daughter. Jung-jae is a psychopath. They leave behind a swath of death and destruction behind them. It makes for an exciting action flick that builds in intensity.

Now the retiring hitman having to do some more wet work is not original this movie is great nevertheless. The Main bad guys is so well acted that he is not someone you want to meet...If you open your eyes and are hanging upside down and see him...you know bad bad things will soon happen.

If you're wondering from the trailer, yes it is pretty generic as far as the premise and you shouldn't expect much depth from the characters. But it is a very well done flick with a great villain and awesome gunfights. Definitely worth watching if you're a fan of Korean action movies or the John Wick films.

A well-written, well-directed, high-speed thriller! I loved the characters, as well as character development in this movie.Each scene more shocking than the previous!I am a new fan of this director, and will look for more of his work.

If you are into Asian action movie..this is a must see. Really great movie.

Recommend for sure.

The Asian do a lot of confine spaces fighting and it works so good.this is like a different version of "Fury" i don't think it's better just good.Fury was so so Dope.
