XXL and it fits. Plenty of pockets and seems to be well made.

I needed to replace several old photographers vests I have used over the years including one from Domke Phototogs, Kodak and Humvee. In looking at the offerings on Amazon I identified this vest as a possible candidate based on the layout of the pockets for holding various photographic equipment, the number of pockets and overall value for the $$. I also needed it for use as urban camouflage for 2A carry.Although this is an XL size it is shorter than the other vests I have which have now worn out after 25+ years of use for the above purposes. The fabric weight is too light to hold any substantial equipment comfortably. It feels like poplin instead of a heavier muslin or duck. The pockets on this vest are too small to really stuff additional lenses for my Nikon full frame cameras and the yoke across the back would have the weight of the lenses digging into my neck uncomfortably. The pockets on this vest are best suited for carrying extra batteries for camera and camera accessories, speedlight, intervalometer, flash triggers, remote release, etc. and extra magazines or speed loaders for your concealed carry piece.When this vest wears out in a couple of years use I will spend the extra money to purchase a more substantial vest for my photographic needs and 2A concealment in a larger size for full frame cover(me). If this XL is an indicator of the sizing for vests then I need an XXL.

I like all of the many pockets and the overall design of the vest however I feel that it runs a bit small. I usually wear an extra large and this vest fits but it’s too snug to wear over a jacket, so I have now ordered a double extra large.
