Q: These can't get all the way in between the teeth & moved all the way up & down like floss so how do these work just as good?

I have a hard time handling floss and using it correctly, so these work for me. I have no problem getting them in between my teeth and underneath my gums. What I do now which really works well is to use the BrushPick along with Gum Proaxa Brush and these two together work. The hygienist at my last visit commended me on my flossing (even though I never used a piece of floss) and that I had almost no plaque.

Q: are these the "new improved" doctor's brush picks??

I ordered these brush picks in 2007 and again in 2013. The packaging in 2007 says "new and improved design". The packaging in 2013 has this omitted. The brush picks however, look identical when comparing the two shipments. The only difference I see is in the container top. The opening in the latest one is narrower. Other than that the sizes of the containers are the same. The brush picks ordered in October 2013 perform as well as the ones ordered in 2007. I am completely satisfied with all of the brush picks I have ordered to date.

Q: Is this product cruelty free?

This product is not cruelty free! However, this item has to be used carefully! The points are sharp as are the brushes and therefore, care needs to be taken when using these dental picks.
