I have an older Lenovo laptop that I lost the charger to and sort of gave up on it over the past few years since I don't need it anymore. But it has some files I wanted to get off it so I decided to give this a try. The battery does not work at all but this charger works great. This style charger is used on so many different models. If you have the power connector that sort of looks like a USB port, this will probably work on it. You can double check that your model number is here to make sure but there could also be others this works with.Quality is good, and you get 2 long cables with the adapter in the middle. It's basically OEM quality and totally worth the price to get an old laptop working again. I got the files I need and I'm really happy to have that computer as a backup now.

As a teacher in a school that checks out a chromebook to every student, I'm expected to complete almost everything using those devices. We are cut down to five reams of paper a year, which sounds like a lot, but it isn't when you have over 100 total students. Because of this, the students need their chromebook charged every day of school. The problem is that they remember to charge their phones, but don't remember to charge their chromebooks everyday. This means that they need to have it plugged in during class. Inevitably though, students forget their chargers. This works really well as a back-up charger. It has been used by at least five students already and fits their individual chromebooks without issue. It even does a pretty good job of high speed charging their chromebooks for use throughout the day.

This power cord won't charge my laptop but it will allow me to use my laptop while plugged in.

The timing of this Vine offering was incredible: just when this charger arrived, my OEM charger started to fail. It would charge when the Thinkpad was idle, but during use the charger couldn't keep up so the battery would run down even plugged in. That's the 90W OEM charger. Another brand new charger rated at 65W, same thing, it won't keep up.I expected the same problem when I plugged in this 135W charger, but no, I was pleasantly surprised as it commenced charging while the computer was in use, to fully charged state in 38 minutes. This product was a lifesaver that worked in a particular situation at a particular point in time when 2 other products would not work.I'm not sure what the problem is. I suspect the power jack has developed oxides so I'll try removing the battery and then cleaning all the male prongs and mating surfaces. In the meantime, everything's working due to a serendipitous offering of the Vine program!

I bought it on April 14. After two months, I have to twist it in weird angles for it to work. I didn't expect it to be amazing but yes, it's pretty bad. I think this is one of those cases where cheaper costs you more than buying expensive. Also, I can't return it. Sigh.

I have several older Thinkpads that use the square connector charger like this one. The oldest is an E550 i3-4005u Thinkpad. I use them on projects that a newer computer would be wasted on. I've been using universal chargers for them because they were all given to me for recycling without any chargers. I picked up this charger because I thought it would be nice to have a dedicated charger for them. So far it has turned out to be a good idea. All my Thinkpads work with this charger. None of them require 135 watts so it never breaks a sweat. It also has nice long cords on both sides of the charger. Much longer than the universal ones I've been using. On top of that, mine came with a Velcro tie for both cords. All-in-all the charger is working out very well for me.
