It’s a shame these days to have to make pens like this so people won’t use forgery.

Pens are designed to prevent “Check Washing”,and that’s what I expect the product to do.

Glad I did this because check washing in my area is getting bad.

I was recently the victim of altered check fraud. Criminals who alter checks use a solvent like fingernail polish remover to “wash” the payee and amount of a check before making the check out to a different person and changing the amount of the check. To test this new pen’s fraud prevention claims, I wrote with both a regular pen and this special gel pen on a void check. When I dipped the check in fingernail polish remover, the writing done with the normal pen washed out, but the writing with the fraud prevention gel pen did not. I will use this pen on every sensitive document I sign from here on.

The markings on the pen does not indicate this is a special check writing pen. It’s just a Pilot G-2. 07 pen! Don’t waist your money here, go to Walmart and buy the same gel pen for less!

This is an inferior bunch of pens. I wouldn't suggest anyone wasting their money on them. I purchased them April 28, 2023 and it is now May 24th 2023, and they are running out of ink, skipping every few letters.
