Tag-A-Room Home Moving Labels Color Coded Packing Stickers (350MBC)

These little stickers helped make the move into our first home SO much smoother. The movers had no problem figuring out where to put everything.PROS: My favorite feature of these stickers is that they are customizable to your home. These are the only ones I could find that didn't have room names already printed on them. It was a little extra work to write the room names on the stickers but worth it to not spend money on ones that we weren't going to use. The adhesive was also good, and in some cases, a little TOO good (don't stick them on metal!!...) ALSO, I was pleasantly surprised to find an adhesive strip ready to go on the back of the tags that you hang on the door frames, thus eliminating the need to find which box you put the tape into.CONS: The stickers are a little small, but that wasn't a huge deal to me. The main reason for my 4 star review is that my order kept getting pushed back and pushed back! And my account was charged, then credited, then charged again. I was confused and getting frustrated. I thought I ordered them in plenty of time (1.5 or 2 weeks before the move?) but with the continued delayed shipping they didn't show up until the day before our move. I was panicked and just about ready to move on to plan B, but then they showed up. Not sure why this happened for a Prime item. ORDER AHEAD OF TIME is my advice. :)

These labels worked perfectly - I put them on all of my boxes and crates and pointed out to the movers what color each room was. After pointing out the colors and the labels on the boxes I was able to stand back and let the movers do their work without them needing to continually confirm with me where a box or bin went. I did not use these on furniture since my furniture was wrapped in towels/cushioning, but they stuck really well to boxes and plastic storage bins.

These color coding moving stickers are smaller than we'd expected, but I think they'll work fine. What we especially like about this set is that you can assign the room and color to your satisfaction rather than being pre-assigned like other sets we looked at and considered. Our family includes two adult sons with developmental disabilities and we have color coded their things for years - one son is red, the other is green. With this set of stickers, we can continue that tradition and the guys can be more helpful during the move next month. I'm not looking forward to the act of moving, but I think having these stickers for the boxes will make it a bit easier on all of us.

I moved across the country, and these made the move so much easier. It was especially helpful because the people who were helping me at my new home were strangers, and instead of having to stay in the house to direct where boxes went, I could just slap the door labels up with the color-coding on them and my helpers knew exactly where to take things. I ended up moving twice in three months, and since I never unfinished packing the first time, the labels really helped me figure out where to put things quickly in the newest place until I could get to them over time. I would definitely use them again, and I recommend to anybody trying to organize a large move!

I thought these would be really handy. But they turned into more of a hassle than helper. I still ended up with boxes in the wrong rooms. The labels are pretty small and are easily lost from sight unless you put them on at least 3 sides of the box. A red marker would get more attention IMHO than these small labels.

Easy! This is a great product and beats trying to cut up pieces of paper and tape to the boxes. I used these by selecting a color for the room - for instance, blue was for the bedroom. I then wrote numbers on the line beside the room and then wrote down what was in each box. So - I can look at the label and know that Blue is for bedroom, #1 contains the comforter and sheet set.
