Ravenscourt The Golf Club Collector's Edition PS4 Game

If you're a golf fan, I think you'll like it. If Tiger Woods/Now Rory McIlroy/EA offering is FIFA, then The Golf Club is Pro Evolution Soccer. It is probably one of the more realistic sims for golf. There are a few issues; the "short game" parts can be difficult and strangely inconsistent at times. The graphics are also a little bit of a let down. Add to that the movement of your golfer being somewhat inhuman (when playing a downhill lie, he actually looks like he's on the toilet!) and it's far from perfect. Like early versions of Pro Evo, it's also missing any real sponsorship or branded items. However, the game still works and keeps pulling you back for another crack at it. The putting is difficult - but rewarding when you hole out from anywhere outside 8 feet (perhaps as it should be!). There is something satisfying about putting together a good round. It could do with some sort of achievements or golfer improvements as you progress the game but that aside, I can see me getting the virtual clubs out a couple of times per week or so maybe.

I used to play Sierra Golf which had a swing with the mouse on PC which doesn't run on windows 10.After buying this I will throw the old game away.I gave 4 stars because I couldn't find any crowd noise or atmosphere.One swings the club with a stick.I use my thumb.I found it easierusing the left stick ,which you can change in the settings.If you are a golfer,after a while you will judge the club to use after taking note of the winddirection.The putting is good.One can take the putter back as far as one wants too.Try the easy desert course first.The practice swing is a bitannoying but true to how a golfer would play.Tee shots are easier than real life.For the price the game is now you must buy for PS4.You won't bedisappointed .This opinion is only after 4 days.I need to see what else the game has.

Great Game for true golfing fans that don't want all the unrealistic power ups that you get in the PGA games nowadays, just pure golf. The controls are difficult to master but if you persevere you will be rewarded with a great feeling when you get that birdie.The creation tool is brilliant and the fact that you can share your creation with so many people over all formats makes for endless possible courses to try out.The handicap system is a stroke of genius, meaning that what ever level you are at in the game you can get a fair chance of being competitive, just like the real game.Only thing stopping this getting 5 stars is the customizing is very limited for your player, would have been nice to be able to get to a more life-like appearance.

This is a good game with great graphics. Its difficult to master but i personally like that as it makes it challenging and more like the real thing. Lets face it, if you make a bad shot in the real game it can seriously affect your score. the reason i gave it 3 stars is because; well I've managed to reach pro and its become seriously too difficult. There are a few flaws for example, some courses are seriously close to the cliffs, but if you go down the cliff expect to lose 7 shots because you cant get back up and you cant drop the ball. Trust me, when your playing live mode after about several rounds taking about 7 hours and you mess up and cant drop a shot like normal and buggers your score up, you become quite annoyed. Overall though a decent buy but will never replace the golf from the old megadrive. Oh, and i forgot to mention, you also cant apply back spin or forward which is frustrating too.

This is a very challenging but rewarding golf game. We're Rory may look better you never feel in total control like you do in the golf club it really makes you think which club to select on approach shots to the green. Tiger & Rory felt just a tab to easy at times were this game is definitely not, which brings you back for more the only down side to the golf club is not real name golfers but that doesn't spoil what is a great little game this is a highly recommended for anyone looking for a challenge.
