It's very affordable, comparing to genuine Microsoft one, but it only does 12V-3.6A - it doesn't do 5V-10A, as genuine one. That gives a power of 43.2W, without a chance for 50W - very slight difference. In this situation (lack of 5V), there's no chance for USB charging port on it. I know it doesn't promise that in the description, but just mentioning, so potential buyers are aware.Unlike the genuine, this one uses shamrock shape connector on the PSU, not figure-of-eight like. Cable included, so not a problem.Other than that does it's job fine. Finished very well. Connector fits very well. Cable has identical flex to the genuine one. Took quite few years to the genuine one get broken, so hopefully, this one lives same long, too.

This product arrived in good time and initially worked as expected. After two months it stopped working.How do I avail of the one year warranty on this product. There doesn't seem to be any contact details available for DTK, the product supplier.

My house bunny chewed through the power cable of my Surface 1 Pro a few weeks ago and I bought a cheap PSU on e-bay, which did the job well enough until it suddenly stopped charging the tablet a couple of days ago. In a panic I went looking for something a bit better built and this one looked the part, mainly because it has a separate power brick (the previous one was all contained in the plug). So far, so good - it works well, seems to have a higher power rating and the mag clip fits better too. Also the cable is rubberised and feels better quality than the cheap one that failed. I'll update this review if it lets me down.

Didn't work with my laptop even though it's rated at the correct power output. Computer said No.

When I plug it into my Lenovo Ideapad Gaming 3, the charger makes weird noises, and the laptop says the charger cannot supply full power.

Can't fault it! Arrived quickly and perfect quality. Just what I needed. Feels sturdier than the original cable I got with the tablet. Highly recommend.

Product says 135w as it does on the item it's self but isn't 135w, when plugged in to my laptop I get a warning stating it is below the recommended 135w, faulse advertising and faulty products..
