Sweet little hammer
Should have bought one of these a long while ago. I use old style wood-bodied bench planes. Hammers like this make adjusting the iron a dream. Has a nice weight and balance.The only problem I have is... remembering where in the shop I left it.

QUALITY!
Great quality cross peen hammer, similar to a joiner's hammer, similar to a Warrington Hammer. Bigger than a tack hammer. This one weighs 14 oz. actually, a bit bigger than what I though I ordered. The handle is traditional wood, with a nice smooth clear finish, NOT sticky or rough. Great hammer for getting small nails in tight spaces, like woodworking projects.

Mine came in pretty poor shape. Heads not at 90 degrees to the handle, some of the black paint on the head chipped off, and handle is so slick from all the lacquer that you'll lose some degree of control.

The hammer is just what I was looking for.I use it to general hand tool wood working.

Great as a plane setting hammer
I tried a few models of the Picard 8701 to use as a plane setting hammer. It would be great if they had a slightly lighter model but this 125g model is just about perfect.

Plutôt déçu de cet article, pour le prix on s'attendait à mieux. Délais de livraison et d'expédition assez long. Je regrette un peu mon achat.

A most excellent pin-hammer. Made in Germany - and it shows. In terms of performance, it's a gem. I wept for joy when I first used it. Every time I pick up this piece of art, for that's what it truly is, I thank the Lord that I purchased this quality hammer and not a piece of cheap Chinese rubbish.

Arbeite nun seit geraumer Zeit mit dem Werkzeug.1. liegt gut in der Hand.2. Perfekt im Gewicht3. Wenn mal daneben geschlagen, dann fast keine Hammer abdrücke. (Schlagfläche ist rund)4. Schlagfläche super gehärtet.Alles in allem ein sehr gutes Werkzeug - sehr zu empfehlen!
