The techniques present in the book did help me considerably in improving my calculation speed. I recommend this book to everyone and especially those who struggle with maths.

I liked the way the book is structured and tries to answer the exact problem we face in the previous chapter while doing the Practice exercises.

After just 2 chapters I started doing it and it was amazing. I tried it at the grocery store. It felt like a game and became self rewarding

I haven’t finished the book yet, but it’s excellent so far. You really do experience an increase in the speed of doing the calculations in your head. I wasn’t great at doing mental calculations before, but the methods given here make doing them relatively straight forward. Everything is really well explained too. It’s important to do the practice exercises in order to build the skill.

It's an interesting theory and I'm working through the book, but it's obviously selling something. He wants you to go to this website and engage with the online community, which in itself would be fine. But there is a chapter promoting his new book where you CAN download for free but you have to go and leave a review for this current book.I got this to be better at math, not get caught up in an endless circle of "buy my newest latest thing"
