Great anchor, does what it needs to do!
Very solid anchor. I was looking for something to hold our boat in stronger winds. We have a 19 foot bow rider. Where we take our boat is out on a local river and when the wind is ripping up and down it the anchor we had wouldn’t hold as well. Might be a bit of overkill but the boat doesn’t move at all now. The anchor is not light by any means, it does take a bit of effort to get it out of the water. I also added a 5 foot section of chain as well and that just adds to the weight. But the was the goal here! Bring on the wind!

Heavy but maneuverable
I had a 15 lb weight for my 19’ speedboat, and it just wouldn’t hold it in the same place, even on a fairly calm day.. unless it was stuck in a bunch of weeds!A combination of the style and weight of this anchor keeps the boat from moving at all, highly recommend!

Works Great
A little heavier than I needed for pontoon. It holds us in place and no worries about drifting off

Awesome Anchor
I bought this anchor to replace the crappy one we got when we purchased a pontoon. The old anchor did hold the boat in place and we kept floating across the lake on windy days. Bought this and boat stays put even on the windiest days! It is heavy seems to be of good quality. Highly Recommend !

Worked great..
Have a 23 foot pontoon. Tried various anchors and could not find something to hold it at the sand bar when the wind picked up. Ordered the 28 pound and it held as winds picked up before a storm.

Sets first time.
This is the perfect size for my 19" boat. It's a little heavy but I got tired of the Danforth anchors always pulling loose or trying several times to get them set. This anchor weighs 28 lbs and sets first time Everytime.
