Love this deep fryer. Very good weight and thickness of metal. Not exceptionally deep so it’s a good two person meal or deep fry in stages. Has a temperature gauge and copper handles. Very attractive pot. Great for wings or Chinese tempura frying or just as a pan fry. Non stick. Directions were in Chinese but it’s easy to figure out. Great price. I used peanut oil which turned out great for my shrimp and chicken wings. Buy a small strainer scoop to pull out your food or thongs. Definitely a nice gift.

The media could not be loaded.  Works very well for quickly frying small items quickly. It heats up fairly quickly, and and pretty much gets the job done. It has a sprout to pour out the oil after use, stores neatly. It does get hot so handle with oven gloves.

I was in the market for a new oil fryer. I was sick of electric ones not lasting for a long time so when I saw this Japanese fryer, I just had to try it and I am glad I did! It is the best one I had ever purchased!

While this fryer is so cute and I wanted to love it, I didn't. Can't say I've ever blackened food in any type of fryer (not even pan frying), but I sure burnt my jalapeno poppers. When I did, it smoked so terrible I had to open the windows and turn on the attic fan. The thermometer didn't help either.

I brought this for my self cause it just right for cooking small amounts of food, like chicken wings, French fried etc etc. thank you for asking.
