Yemaya: Orisha, Goddess, and Queen of the Sea

I bought this book to grow closer to Yemaya and to learn more about who this amazing Deity is. I had asked God to give me guidance on my healing journey and to help me unlock and further develop my spiritual gifts and I was led to Yemaya. This book describes the various aspects of the Goddess and provides a nice introduction for working with the Goddess. Everyone's journey is unique and will therefore look very different with regards to how one decides to worship or form a relationship with the Goddess. My only complaint is Amazon's storage and packaging of these books, when I order a new book I expect it to arrive with zero imperfections. I'd recommend more authors to start using hard covers instead or provide the option.

I got intiated in feb of this year ,I love this book I would buy many more just to have it ,I just started reading it and everytime before I place it down I hug it ,the book is beautiful an the author is even more beautiful ! This book is going to explain so much and help me form a deeper connection with her .Yemaya I love you -

What Raven has been able to do is amazing. His voice, and Yemaya's come through clearly. In this book an iniatiate of Yemaya loving shares the stories of her wonders and disrespectful mistakes that some people make in approaching her. This book is a much needed fresh breath of air covering the grey area of approaching a spirit that some people will say is closed to you. Likewise, at the other end of the spectrum, there is a lot of disrespectful misinformation out their written about Yemaya and other spirits that doesn't cover the necessary taboos and effort involved in forming a good relationship. Raven bridges the gap and shares his love and stories of this divine feminine reminding us she is approachable but their is a right and wrong way. I feel blessed reading this book and you will too.
