Q: Will this hold on the wall well with thumb tacks or it too heavy? Is 7 the length or the width?

This is more cloth-like, so not sure it will stay secured with thumb tacks. Maybe, duck tape? I used PVC pipe and constructed my own backdrop. You can Google it. The width is 5' and the length is 7'

I think it has a grey hue. But I can see how you think it is bluish in the light. I was expecting a more white look, but I like mine all the same.
