Louisville Slugger 2018 Vapor -9 USA Baseball Bat, 27 inch/18 oz

I bought this bat for a 9 year old due to new regulations in dixie youth baseball. This is an awesome bat for the price and had most of the team wanting to use it because of the big barrel and it looks cool as well!

My son loved his bat. It is very light and well balanced. He was able to improve his swing and batting percentage. I would gladly buy another one.Your son or daughter will appreciate the balance and weight distribution of this bat and give them the confidence of a better swing.

This bat is aesthetically nice. My son loves the look and feel of this bat. It definitely does not give you the pop off the bat compared to the $300 bats, but that is not why I bought the bat ($40ish is pretty nice). The bat does exactly what it needs to do, make the ball go far.

The jury is still out, but after several games, I have to say that this isn't a bad bat for what you pay. These new USA bats are dead anyway unless you get one of the high-dollar, $300+ composite bats, but this one does have some solid pop to it and seems to hold up well. It's almost like hitting with a wooden bat, only lighter and more durable, which I guess is the aim of the USA bat rules. It works just fine for my 7-year old.
