My cat is skittish, so sometimes he likes this toy and sometimes he runs away from it. It works well and has several different speeds that switch automatically. It glides around on wood floor and fell down stairs, but works well on carpet.

Fun for days! My cat needs to be paid attention to and these toys really helped in keeping him busy and entertained.

I really, really wanted to like this toy because it said it will detect when the cat wiggles the toy. But it started out as a complete bust. The battery compartment (it doesn't have USB) is closed with a tiny screw with some kind of Philips head. They did not include a screw driver like some other toys we got that had this. But none of the screwdrivers that came with those other toys would fit. Forget your bit set drivers. The hole the screw sits in is too small to fit any of those. A Precision screwdriver from the Dollar store finally did the trick. The automatic activation is not very reliable. Sometimes the toy will come on at others it won't. Since I bought this for a blind cat who is a stickler for routines he now just keeps walking past. I have bought other migipaws toys before. Both for us and for the fosters. They tend to be more pricey than this one. But their sensors work more reliably. If this had been my first migipaws toy I would not have bought any of the others.

I wish I could rage this higher, however it broke in two different ways after 3 weeks of my kitten playing with it. Firstly I tried to change out the top of the toy and the plastic stem broke off of the butterfly wand. Forgiven body hazard for a cat!!! One I put a new wand on a sat it out for him it only lasted a couple weeks before the motor died. I tried new batteries and that was not the issue. It really sucks because he loved to play with it however it just wasn’t built to last.Of course it broke 4 days after my return/refund/replace window closed so I’m stuck with a broken toy for my cat to stare at.

I bought two different versions of this; one for a smaller cat and one for all larger cat. Both cats play with this toy every single day many times during the day. I like that it turns off when it’s not news. Well-made and this will last a long time. I recommend this to anybody who has a cat, even the cats that just sit around and do nothing. This will get them up and enable them to exercise.

My cat reacted right away and liked it, play with it every day and not it is not working, but I understand and satisfied while working about 2month. Changed battery but it seems time to let it go

If your (fur) baby has MEDIUM or LONG HAIR please be aware of what just happened to our beautiful long-hair cat. This toy has a METAL HOOK at the base of the spin arm. The spinning hook not only caused mild lacerations to Gracie’s skin but it also caught her fur, spinning and pulling her fur into the center of the unit; wrapping Gracie’s fur/skin so tightly the unit could no longer move. The toy had literally lashed itself to her underbelly. That’s when panic hit.I hadn’t seen it happen, I was a few feet away (due to toy injuries reported online, I never leave pets unattended with automated toys). Gracie began to yowl. She was terrified, unable to move with the large toy lashed to her underbelly; her big green eyes wide with fear “Mommy help me!”I was scared too — it happened so fast.I spotted her on the floor, attempting to walk. That’s when I realized the entire toy was somehow lashed to her body, severely limiting her movement. I felt around and was grateful to feel only minor cuts from the hook; then I realized a large chunk of fur and skin were trapped inside the center of the unit. Since both skin and fur were trapped, I could not use scissors — my only option was to PULL her fur out as gently as I could. Fortunately, 2-3 pulls cleared enough fur to allowed the remaining skin/fur to slide right out. A few days and she’ll be all healed (physically).I never thought this would happen to us. I don’t leave Gracie unattended with automated toys (thank goodness for that!), I always check new purchases for safety before putting them out, I even comb thru reviews to ensure we don’t buy potentially harmful products … yet this one still slipped through :-(It’s a shame this toy injured and terrified my cat, because for two wonderful hours (the time between opening the box and her being injured) she absolutely LOVED this toy. So I will try a different brand, as there are SIMILAR TOYS on Amazon where the arm attachment is a solid disk that spins at the top; not a spin arm you stick into a hole with an exposed metal hook on the end.Have fun, stay safe 🐾

The kittens love this as not noisy and flutters past them keeping them intrigued and live chasing it ……. Wish it was rechargeable

I’m always on the look out for toys for my cats and this one is okay, but basic. The wire bends too low so the butterfly and the other bits touch on the floor all the time. You need 2 AA batteries which don’t come with the toy.

for such price I expected more sturdier item, it falls quite often on the ground when cat plays with it, and it does not stand up back majority of the time, the butterfly when spinning its not like 360 but majority of the time it stays in one place and just spins so needs improvement with the product
