The only reason I didnt give this a 5 star rating is I havent used it long enough yet. I love the feel, my face loves it, my skin loves it.

I have been looking for a product that could keep my face clear, even with a mask. The Clarista scientific formulation went so far beyond cosmetic approaches. I don't even have to use foundation anymore, even with the unforgiving Zoom camera. It's an ethically sourced, all-in-one, miracle.

Love this gel! It really smooths the texture of my skin. I leave it on for around 3-4 minutes and then scrub and rinse my face. It doesn't bother my rosy cheeks, rosacea, so I'll continue to use it.

This makes your skin feel so soft! I really enjoy using it!

Clearista Retexturing Gel is a scrub exfoliant for the face and/or body. This has biodegradable “Ecobeads“ made from jojoba esters and free from environmentally unsound microplastics (I believe are banned in the U.S.) The Ecobeads feel like rather large scrub particles and seem a bit aggressive, but they do feel like they have smooth edges and haven’t irritated my sensitive skin.The pores on my nose seem slightly cleaner, but I don’t notice much difference and my skin feels odd after rinsing like it has a repellant coating. My skin doesn’t feel supple or moist, and instead feels like there’s a barrier that keeps my skin from absorbing my serum and cream. I end up washing my face again to get rid of that feeling. Some may like this scrub, but it’s just okay at best for me. 3 stars.

this product is fine but i didn’t realize it used microplastics along with jojoba esters so i definitely won’t be getting this again. i expect brands especially ones like this to take some accountability with making sure their products are earth friendly and doesn’t contribute additional plastics to an already difficult and complicated problem we’re in the middle of, so even if this product is good, it’s not worth it for me. there’s peeling gel scrubs that give me similar results so i’m kinda disappointed with this formula since it’s a better known brand.

So, I put some of the gel on my face and let it sit for a few minutes. And because I could feel those little beads that exfoliate, I figured it wasn't a facial cream but a cleansing product.So, I read the directions and left it on my face for a few minutes and then went in and rinsed off my face, patted it dry and then applied my night moisturizer. My face looked better.
