As the manufacturer of the Browning Concealed Carry Handbag, the body of the Catrina actually measures 9" tall x 11.5" wide x 3.5" deep. The strap is 27" at its shortest and 53" at its longest length. The shortest drop measurement is 14". Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Q: Does this purse fall over with the weight of the gun?

I've not had that problem, but I also don't carry much else but a wallet, glasses a pack of tissues, and a phone. There's a nifty pocket for the phone on inside so it's always accessible. I really like this purse. Very well made.
