I originally received one of these as a birthday card from my mother a few years ago. It was so interesting to get a little glimpse of life back in the year I was born. A blast from the past, if you will. The ones I've seen feature average cost of living, common grocery item prices, popular products/ads, historic events, popular music and movies, and many other fun facts.I've gifted many Remember When Kardlets to friends and family since and they've all thoroughly enjoyed them. I highly recommend as a fun, thoughtful gift!

Good for reunions

my grandmother loved it!

She loved it! I'm not sure how accurate the facts are, but it sure was fun to flip through it and talk about how different things are from the year she was born. Makes a perfect gift for those who love history. Might buy for family stocking stuffers at Christmas.

The content was great, but this was more like a large, multi-page greeting card than a book. The words were so small we could barely read them.

For the price it was disappointing. I expected the booklet to be a little longer and more like a book. The envelope enclosed with it was crumpled beyond use. Good thing I had an envelope that would work. This is more like a card than anything. To console myself, I reasoned cards are about the same price with less pages. I think my husband will like it and this is who I purchased it for.

I got this for my grandmother for her 82nd birthday and she ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! It was such a special and unique gift and she’s already started filling out memories for us grandkids and her great grandkids. We are black so it’s interesting to see how different her experience was from the things portrayed in the book. For us, it’s a reminder of how things have changed for the better and we give thanks to God for the opportunity to look back and be thankful for all the people who daily fight to make life better for everyone in our beautiful country, especially people like our dear grandparents. My children now get to have a better life and live in a world more love filled and that was totally awesome!

Given as a gift for my sons 18th birthday. Made him feel nostalgic. Keep in mind it is printed in the States so there are some American references ei. gallon and things mentioned in American dollars. But on the whole most things are pretty generic.

C'est pour un cadeau, je connaissais déjà ce produit. C'est parfait pour mon besoin.
