Is this an authentic Alessi product? If so, how can it be half the price?

Can you make less that 10cups for the 10cup version, maybe 5cups @ 1.5ounce cup each = 7.5 ounces with some consistancy in taste?

Are you personally happy with the 10-cup size, or wish for the smaller 10-cup? It would be for 1, 2 or 3 people while camping. I know it's personal!

Does anyone know where to purchase gaskets for the 10-cup? Thank you so much.
