Lower bracket holds 2X4 in place
These are zinc plated which will eventually corrode. If they were galvanized I would have given them a 5. Everything else about them is worthy of a 5

small utility trailer upgrade
These brackets allow me to transform a small flat trailer to use with side boards for some loads.I do wish they included an option for mounting bolts and nuts.

Check size of Lumber First
Though a bit more than I really wanted to pay, these did the job perfectly. Just beware that the size of the Stake Pocket may not fit the size of your Stakes. Had to trim down treated 2 x 4 to make them fit :(
