My dog is a little hard to fit for sweaters. She’s chihuahua and terrier, has a very thick chest and a skinny waist, like a whippet. This sweater fits her perfectly (she’s about 11 pounds) and has room at the shoulders and neck for her to move comfortably. It’s well made and very cute! Well done 😀

This is a wonderful fleece dog shirt/vest for a small or medium sized dog. I have two Boston Terriers, one is 25lbs, and one is 15lbs, and the XL size actually fits both of them perfectly. I had originally purchased this for my larger dog, but found that it fits both of them nicely. It is a little looser on my smaller dog, but not too big for him by any means.The fleece is good quality, and the vest is sewn well. The fleece material is nice and thick, and keeps both of my dogs warm on cold fall days/nights. The bright red color is eye catching. On the top of the back of the vest, there is a O-ring leash attachment, which may be helpful to some people. My smaller dog is a huge puller while on a leash, and tends to dart every which way on walks, so I did not try out using the O-ring with him, as he needs a very secure harness when out walking, and I didn't want to take the chance he would pull off the vest. I was able to use the O-ring when my larger dog wore the vest, however, because he is much more mellow, and has recently become blind, so he walks very cautiously and doesn't need to be prevented from pulling or running in all directions, as he doesn't do that during walks.Overall, I highly recommend this great dog vest by Gooby, and plan on purchasing additional vests from the company in other colors.

Got 3 of these (2 med, 1 small) for my ~8 lb Chi mix, recent rescue senior dog.It appears that my dog is not shaped properly for this sweater and is between sizes.The good... the quality is great, love the leash attachment, easy wash and dry, great colors. I'm sure this sweater would be great for other body types. No body shaming here ;-)The medium - According to chest size she is a medium yet the sweater is too long (goes way past her bottom and over her tail) and the body too wide for my dog and yet the hem binding makes it too snug, difficult, and uncomfortable to put over my dogs head and get her legs in the holes. In order for my dog to wear the sweater, I had to trim off the bottom hem/binding and cut off the length in the back. This now makes it easy to put on. But, the arm and leg holes are so large that while she is wearing the sweater her front leg has, more than once, become twisted in the sweater and after some struggle ends up settling out the neck hole.So, I got a small - Similar problem... now it was way to tight to put on my dog without removing the hem/binding. Though a better fit overall (with binding removed), the sweater is still too long.She still wears all 3 sweaters but I'm still in the market for sweaters with a better fit.

My chihuahua is 9 lbs, with a 10" neck, 16" chest, and 12" length. The medium fits her perfectly. It is loose enough that she can move freely, and the neck and arm holes are roomy enough to get it on and off of her easily. On her it's not really a snug fit, but she hates snug clothes, and if it were any tighter I think it would be too hard to put on and take off. The fleece is thick and warm, and it covers her full back. Also, the leash tab on the back seems very sturdy and is sewn on well.My dog has lots of sweaters and jackets and shirts, but this is one of only two items that she seems to actually enjoy wearing. Often when I put an item on her, she does "The Freeze" and refuses to walk or move. When I put this vest on her, it didn't faze her at all and she runs and jumps freely in it. I've ordered three more in different colors because I'm so pleased with it.I'm attaching some pictures to show how the medium fits on my dog. She's very slender through most of her body, but has a deep chest, so it can be hard to fit her. This vest is just right and should keep her warm and cozy. Plus the color is vibrant, and it just seems well made overall. Very happy with this.

Warm material, but the fit is narrower than expected. I didn't return it because it fit my smaller dog.

High quality, great fit, deep chocolate color. Dachshunds are hard to fit with their long bodies, deep chest, short legs. The medium fits our 10lb Miniature Dachshund perfectly.Hoping that when she lays down, her legs stay put. The way that she lays makes it easy for them to slip out. Love Gooby clothes now that they're made in America.

Yay ! Finally a jacket that fits. Spot on with the sizing, thank you. I have a 3lb Chihuahua and it fits perfectly.

Love that it has a leash hook, so I don't have to also put on his harness all the time. I also like the "sleeveless" style, since my dog always doesn't like sleeves.

Too small for size and cheap quality

Ich habe eine Chihuahua Welpen und habe es in der XS bestellt und es passt wie angegossen. Die Qualität des Materials ist sehr angenehm.

Brought this for my 5 month old maltipoo puppy and it works brilliantly at first the sizing debate in the reviews was worrying but I brought him a medium and im sure it'll fit him into adult hood. He's a toy poodle and maltese cross for reference. But amazing and strong he can be a bit of a puller. But would definitely buy again!!
