Safariland Safariland 578 7TS GLS Pro-Fit, Standard Frame

I use this with my walther pps .40 and it works great. Very easy to adjust the tension so you get a perfect fit. This holster is itself is sturdy and the belt clip is solid and very secure (it has an added lip on the inside of the paddle that fits over your belt and prevents any kind of unwanted movement when drawing your weapon). This is one of the only holsters I was able to find that fit my walther and had some kind of added weapon retention. The finger release is in a great position and you don't have to adjust your grip at all to release your gun from the holster.

This is my primary OWB holster. The paddle is very comfortable. It is easy to put on or take off. I was leaning towards the Safariland ALS style after years of using thumb break holsters. But the price of this was just too good to pass up and I was curious about the GLS release as an alternative to the Serpa release. Since the GLS uses the middle finger, it is very natural upon grip to draw. Tension adjustment is easy to make and I have not noticed any reduction of retention strength. This particular model also came with optional belt loop which was a nice bonus. I definitely recommend this product.

Great holster. I bought the holster for sub-compact models. I bought the holster for the Glock 26/Springfield XDS 45. A little difficult to use for smaller guns with smaller frames, but the holster I bought works really well the Glock 17/19/34 as well. As long as you don't mind a portion of the slide sticking out of the bottom of the holster vs using a full size. Great retention and perfect for IDPA etc.

Love the GLS functions of this holster. Gun fits secured, and easily pulls out when releasing the button. The paddle is very comfortable and secure. Did have a slight issue once at range, where GLS mechanism locked with gun out. Re holstering would not reset it. Had to stick a pen inside to reset. No big deal. Only happened once. I wish I could wear this full time instead of a IWB for concealed carry.

Excellent holster, fits several of my handguns, worked for a my Walther PPQ .22, needed to shim to fit my Walther P22 and S&W M&P .22, which were included in the package. To me the easiest holster to draw from and return the gun to. Well made and very durable.

Great holster. Read the reviews on it first and found very positive feedback on it. It's very comfortable to wear and secures the gun nicely. No play in the gun when holstered. Price was good too. Amazon makes it very easy to order and had it here in less than 2 days.

Release is.VERY Stiff. HOLSTER RELEASE doesn’t release easily IF NEEDED IN AN EMERGENCY GO NYLON

It's an OK holster and holds glocks well but it is for subcompacts and not standard frames as the title states. It says subcompacts right on the rear of the holster. The G26 fits perfect, The G19 sticks out the bottom by 1/2 inch, the G17 about 1 inches and the G34 with red dot optics even more. It also holds the CZ-75 and the EAA witness P 9mm but they stick out the bottom also. This is the first GLS (Grip Locking System) I've bought and I must say I perfer the ALS (automatic locking system) thumb system way better but couldn't find one to hold the Glocks and CZs in one holster. It mounted to the QLS system and works fine it you don't mind full size guns sticking out the bottom.
