I bought the A2 sized version to use for calligraphy, so that I would be able to see my guide line sheet through the paper. This board did not disappoint, it came with a controller for on/off and brightness, selected by turning a knob, this is very effective and easy to use. Four small magnets were supplied to hold paper in place on the board and although they are not very powerful I find no problem with them. Plastic bulldog style clips are also supplied.Because it does not have a on/off switch on the face of the board like some do there is no chance of accidentally turning the light off when in use.I have mine resting on a desk easel which allows me to vary the angle of the board.It arrived promptly and well packaged.

My A2 Light Pad just arrived and Im so happy and very impressed. Ive been struggling with an A4 Light Pad that I bought ages ago and although it was good for making small diamond pictures it just wasnt big enough for much else. Im a craft addict and luckily can turn my hand to most things crafty but lately my time has mostly gone on sewing garments for my new Grandson. The trouble is pattsrns usually come in multi size so you can either waste the pattern and cut out just one size or you can spend hours tracing round the size you want which is what i was doing using my A4 Light Pad......so difficult but no longer a problem because this A2 Light Pad is perfect! The light system is amazing as you get a much wider difference of light at the turn of a switch. Other light pads are touch button and easy to turn off. They usually connect via a micro usb which is so easy to pull out turn the pad off by accident and its so annoying. The connection has a male/female socket so theres no danger of pulling the electric cord out. This A2 light pad is really robust and i can use it on my work bench or on the floor. Its the cheapest A2 Light Pad I found on Amazon too which is always appreciated! If youre looking for an A2 Light Pad then look no further as in my opunion this is the best one out there!

I love this light pad! I bought it to replace an A4 one I had which was so flimsy that it broke on its third use. This A3 light pad, however, is great. It is sturdy and lightweight, and I very much like its cable and controls: the previous light pad had a cable that plugged into the light pad, and this is where that previous one broke: the whole edge of the light pad cracked off the main body, levered off by the plug. This one, however, has a short length of cable hanging from the top edge, into which you plug the longer cable, and so there's little to no chance of it breaking as the other one did.It also has a nice switch on the cable which controls the colour of the light, and the brightness of it, meaning I can get exactly the right amount of light to do my work with. And the plastic it's made from gives a very nice surface for tracing designs from, which is what I use it for: there's a nice amount of feedback from the surface. I am very pleased with it.

Not the most even of adjustment of brightness, but able to find a level for differing circumstances. Plug was annoying, luckily had an adapter, or I would have sent it back.

I’ve had similar products before that cost me almost double and broke after a few uses. This one is much better quality and much better value for money. I love that it came with clips and magnets as well! Very pleased would highly recommend

Very easy to use, nice, bright. Easy connection and it has UK plug.I got the Model 1 with vintage style switch control like an old CB Radio.LOVE it!
