STRONGEST RECOMMENDATION. It actually can UNCLOG a bathroom sink, and tub. Best of all it is easy on pipes. Takes time to do so, like let it sit over night. I used one whole bottle the night then a second bottle the next night to make sure everything is open again. WORTH every cent.

First, if you are sensitive to strong smells, don't get the scented version. It's very strong.We bought an older house with slow, smelly drains. Every time we ran the dishwasher, it smelled like the sewer was in our kitchen. The bathroom sink gruggled and drained slow, making brushing your teeth quickly an athletic sport.We tried Drain-o and that didn't help. Then I remembered how useful enzymes can be and found this product.We put this stuff down the drain three nights in a row per directions.Smell? Gone! And although the scent is strong, when it dissipated, the smell was still gone. So it isn't just masking it.Slow drain? Nope, no longer. We could run the dishwahser without inviting the sewer into our kitchen.We have tried it on a blocked drain, and it didn't help. But after we used our plumber snake to push the block out, the drain cleaner took care of the smell. I've started buying this stuff in bulk. :-)

I had a heavy clog in my bathroom sink and this product was 70% effective. I recommend either purchasing a snake to get the majority of hair out first and using this to maintain or getting a more potent clog remover solution. I still like the product and would buy it again for minor clogs.

Pros: does the job. Easy to use. Smells good. Safe ingredients that won’t kill you by inhaling it.Con’s: recommends you use a copious amount 2-3 times a week. You don’t need to do that. I pour half what’s recommended me half as often. Otherwise, you’d be buying this stuff weekly.

This did not clear the shower drain. I used the whole bottle and still my shower drains slow. There is a reason why draino is a number one drain cleaner... because unlike this draino works the first time and you don't end up using the whole bottle and get no results. What a gimmick.

The microbial communities that live within our drains are bound to vary from one sink to the next, so I’m reluctant to suggest that this product won’t work for your clog. Unfortunately, the “active culture blend” supposedly contained in the bottle didn’t do much for mine. In fairness, I deliberately deviated from the instructions to pour about a quarter of the bottle down the drain on consecutive nights. I suppose following the directions might have worked (particularly as the product also contains lye [sodium hydroxide], which is the active ingredient in many drain cleaners), but I was primarily interested in inoculating my drain with the crud eating organisms that the product supposedly contains. I poured enough of the drain cleaner down the drain to coat the pipe walls before going to work every day, and repeated the process for a month. The best I can say is that there may have been a slight improvement over a period where I would have expected the clog to worsen. It’s possible that I received a poorly stored bottle that had nothing living it it when it arrived (the bottle says that it should not be exposed to temperatures exceeding 100 degrees Fahrenheit), I may have had better luck following the directions, or the product may work better in other environments. Still, I found it disappointing and won’t be using it again.

this product works great for drain clearing, have used it for several years!

The product worked great and no smell. I did use the entire bottle on one clog, so it was pricey, but the results were fantastic. Mine was a slow drain, so I waited until all the water drained down before adding product. I gave it 24 hours to work & had to use a plunger to clear the drain, but the drain is now 100% clear. I even filled the sink with water, opened the drain, leaving the water on and the drain was able to keep up and eventually empty the sink.
