The word 'Ken' means 'Sword' and 'tama' means 'Ball', translating to the 'Sword and the Ball'. This challenging novelty toy is the perfect gift and is all the 'Kraze' for youngsters worldwide. Competitions are popping up across the globe for this worldwide phenomenon. The kendama is comprised of 3 cups, one on the bottom of the stick, and one one each side. The 2 cups on the side are actually different sizes, making one of the cups more difficult to catch the ball with. Of course, the most difficult trick of all is to catch the ball on the spike. While it may seem like a simple children's toy, the Kendama can entertain for hours as you try to master all of its difficult trick sequences. The Japanese ball string game is the best exercise to engage your mind, body, and spirit in a healthy way. The Kendama model enhances your reaction ability, improves reflexes, balance, and creativity, and also builds hand-eye coordination. This healthy exercise is suitable for dealing with cognitive balance problems in people of all ages-beginner or pro.

Its ok, the kids seem happy
My son picked it out and he loves it. The paint started chipping off right away, but the toy itself works fine.

Pretty bad product.
Cheap. I wish I did my research beforehand. There are way better brands available for just 5 bucks more. Sweets Kendama are $19.99 and WAY BETTER. The paint began chipping on this one after only 1 day of use. The balance is completely off and horrible! The paint app is also very slick and has no grip at all!I do not recommend this at all.

Pretty Epic
It was a good kendama I had it for like 3 years and now its busted. So it is good for a little while but soon it has the paint coming off and the wood is scarped up. I would still recommend though.

Very good introducing old fashion toys to my kids
Put aside any electricals, my kids enjoyed this very much. Getting back to basics of playing something simple and trying to do the tricks are good. Recommend if u like these kind of old school toys
